I generally buy Clarks' boots but couldn't find any that appealed from this season's range. I'd not purchased any Geox footwear when I came across this pair on Amazon but took a chance as they looked good. Very pleased I did - the Annya Highs appear to be well made with nice detailing; there's a chromed rivet to the end of the leather zip pull so it'll never look tatty and the side buckle is unusual being a shade of gunmetal that will complement most outfits. The sole unit seems sturdy - and very different if you're new to the brand as it's covered with lots of small holes for breathability. I very much like the fact that they're as comfortable from first wear as Clarks and certainly appear to be as well crafted.

Very comfortable even when standing for several hours. Recommend this boots very elegant and impressive design. Note that, the rather high cut of the boots require long socks (much above ankle) or otherwise it can cause discomfort. Wore it for the first time with shorter socks and felt uneasy above ankle. For the second time used the right socks and it was great.
