I had issues with the previous impeller that (after about a years use) seemed to 'stutter' when rotating, adding to noise of the pump and decreasing pumping efficiency (cleaning seemed to make no difference). I therefore decided to go with this option rather than replacing the whole pump. This impeller fits perfectly and rotates correctly and quietly. Very happy with this item.

I have been looking for one of these for quite a while but the choice was mind boggling, I needed one for a Fluval 3 Plus pump (over 10 years old) in the end I contacted Hagen who are the dealers who were able to give me the item number for the impeller I needed which made it easy to track down on Amazon, best thing ever, pump now working really well and fish are happy!

Have not yet used it. Pump was very noisy after being thoroughly cleaned but after toying with it and it now seems much quieter so will not change impeller until I next clean the tank.

1st class product as you would expect from hagen but still think its a tad expensive although its cheaper than replacing the actual filter

It was a replacement part for my filter,thanks very much, do you have the part which holds the filter in the tank and rubbers.

My 7 year old pump had kept jamming. Popped in the new impeller and it has run perfectly ever since.
