I bought my first pair of Flke Wlkie Lights a few years ago to use as summer walking socks in walking boots, but in fact I use them for hiking all year round now. They never get sweaty or smelly, even after a week's constant use (your feet may vary!) and fit very nicely indeed, due to the fact they are 'handed', i.e. they are like shoes, in that there is a left sock and a right sock, marked accordingly.(You may not think that matters, and I guess it doesn't matter too much, but it is nice. I usually find with all socks that if I have worn them for a few hours and take them off, my feet will have pushed them into shape, and if I put them on the 'wrong' feet subsequently, they will 'feel wrong'

I Love these socks!I have had a pair for a couple of years now and really enjoy wearing them, they keep your feet warm in the cold and cool in the heat, and even work to a degree when soaking wet (not a recommended way to wear socks though) . I would not use them on a hot summers day however as they are reasonably thick. I have agonised over spending so much money on a single pair of socks that demand special attention when it comes to washing, but have over time bought a few more pairs and use them as my main walking socks.What must be noted however, is the fact that everybody has different shaped feet, so whilst they are great for me that may not be so for everybody.

I purchased these socks as the new walking boots i had recently purchased fitted perfectly to size to thicker socks made them too snug. These socks fit exactly to size and are tailored to each foot (marked L&R). They are lightweight but still thick enough to protect your feet and have padding around the ball, heel and toes. They don't slip down when walking and are a lovely soft wool. I was so pleased i ordered another pair. Falke are a well established high quality hosiery maker so I expected them to be good. They certainly didn't disappoint.

Ever pair of Falke socks I have ever purchased for him, he loves... they have style, QUALITY written all over them (NOT literally OF COURSE !) and last well, wash well, fit comfortably, no sagging, or droopy or tight toes... FALKE are the tops ... worth every penny. I PROMISE. GREAT all round, they are wrapped beautifully and always arrive on time! TAKE CARE. Janabird

With smaller feet there are not many manufacturers that sell well fitting socks (many are one size that are too big). Falke is different and their socks have a perfect fit. I love that these are padded in the sole very comfy but also ligh weight elsewhere so they are perfect for walking or casualware in spring/autumn, both boots and trainers.

I have these and the Walkies. These are lighter as you'd expect by the name but other than that there's not a lot of difference, if anything they seem more padded in the foot. They are a great fit, and like the Walkies the heel area bobbled at the first wear but doesn't seem to affect the sock other than aesthetically.

they feel realy soft. and nicetotaly recomended. for normal use.not sure if they are good for summer use though. but might be good alsothey just feel realy nice. and th eletter L or R on the sock are wery hard to seeand i realy love falke socks,i want some more

The FALKE WALKIE light is everything you want from a winter sock. Light but warm.Lovely snug fit from the unique left and right design. Finally, very hard wearing and a lovely range of colours to choose from. They make an excellent present!

These are the best socks I have ever worn. They are R and L specific, are large enough to not squash toes, they seem to adjust to foot size and finally are just the right thickness to cushion but not overheat the foot.

I have bought many pairs of Falke walking socks, I wear them daily and although they are not cheap they are a great fit, comfortable, hard wearing and to my mind worth every penny.

These wonderfully comfortable socks are used all year round both for walking and for gardening.
