I don't ski - but please keep reading. I don't ski, but I do work in flood rescue so I spend a fair amount of time in a dry-suit wading about and walking distances in very very cold water. Therefore, i'm very very fussy about socks. Cold feet are the worst.These are very warm socks, very thick, and very comfortable. You could cheerfully wear these around the house as slippers. The material is deeply soft and thick and super cosy on your feet. The seams are all well thought out, so no risk of blisters from these, and have extra layers in all the wear points. The shin protection is great against bumps and bruises, so I imagine they'd be just as good in ski boots. Did I mention how warm they are?

I bought these socks to protect me against the potential -22C temperatures on a photography course in Iceland in winter. I worn them under a second pair of short socks to insulate my feet. The Ski socks come up to your knees. They are thick and warm. In short they did a great job and due to the weather conditions I was glad that I had bought more then one pair. Worn under a windproof / waterproof pair of trousers they provide a lot of warm air pockets. They are comfortable and well made, so I have given them a 5-star rating. The temperature actually went down to -23 C and we had a hurricane to add insult to injury. My legs remained warm whilst others shivered.

Going to be a bit difficult to review these as will not be going skiing for quite a few months now, so can only go by how they feel and how they are made, well trying them on they feel great hard to say how warm these are unless I sit for an hour with my feet in the freezer, but they do feel like that should be nice a warm,. These have reinforcing in the right places so should feel nice in my ski boots, obviously I have no idea how well they wear but going by my last pair of ski socks these should be no different and give me quite a few months wear.

I found these socks very comfortable. Padded soles makes big difference and feet get less tired.Size is perfect. Anatomic fit is something new for me, but I really like it. The pressure on toes is distributed evenly and fee feels more comfortable than in regular socks.No shrinking or discoloration after washing. One pair survived 60 degrees with drying option – still fits as it was before.Overall very nice looking and comfortable socks.
