These are absolute top quality socks and a joy to wear. They are supplied as left and right footed socks, with an L and R on the top. I’ve not had left and right socks before and they really do fit much better, moulding around the toes. Although these are sold as cushioned running socks, there is very little noticeable padding on the soles and at the back of the ankles for cushioning and for rubbing relief like you might find with some technical socks. The grey area of the socks (on the soles) is a little thicker however. But the fit makes up for this, not moving at all with various shoes, even work boots they stay put. They are a slightly unusual length, being longer than ankle socks but shorter than most other socks.

It is the 3rd pair I buy and I am very happy with both fit, warmth and quality. Use it for skiing, running and forest trips :-).
