Firstly, I want to say that this is Falcon enamelware, even though it does not (at the time of writing) say so in the header for the product. I thought perhaps this was a cheaper unbranded product, but no, it is the genuine item. It is my first piece of enamelware, but having used it, I can say that it won't be my last. I find it beautiful to look at, easy to clean and best of all - perfect for baking my sourdough bread. I would like to purchase some bannetons, but they are quite expensive and having also read on many baking websites about using a dutch oven (also often expensive), I thought perhaps I could use one of these. If I want to bake a loaf with a higher hydration I can prove the loaf in this and then bake without having to move the dough.

With failing dexterity I find I keep dropping things and thus have gone through several good casserole dishes. Since I only use the fan convection oven in my microwave for roasting I needed something that would fit, even with handles and a lid. This is just the ticket. The food cooks better. I just wipe the base with oil to help things along a bit. Have used it with and without the lid. Big enough to cook for two. Not particularly deep but I managed to cook a spatchcocked poussin in it. It came out of the dishwasher okay.

Ah I love this, I was looking for a dish like this to recreate a meal for my husband that we had, had at a restaurant. Okay, well I tried to sound fancy. I tried to recreate the JD 'Bucket of Bones' that we had eaten previously at TGI Friday's as they served their in something similar. I also like it because it's a bit coastal looking and I figure it will probably look nice on the table filled with mussels and some crusty bread. It's a good size, retains heat. I love it.

I have a larger roaster for when I cook chicken and bigger joints but needed something smaller for things like chops and chicken portions. I used this Roaster the day it arrived. It didn't disappoint. The meat was perfect and the veg I'd put in with it tasted sweet and wonderful. My mum and grandmother used these and their meals were always delicious. Yes, I could use my slow cooker (and I do) but nothing tastes like food cooked in these roasters. Highly recommend.

This roasting dish incredibly matches a pie dish I inherited from my Grandmother 26 yrs ago and goodness knows how many years she'd used it for. Perfect size for 2 people. Handles to grab hold of, which was my main reason for ordering as my ceramic casserole dish was very awkward to lift up,having none. Am contemplating adding some more enamel items to my kitchen. Easy to clean, even hard baked on food - just soak in hot water.

Delivery was within the quoted time and packaging good.So pleased to have found this enamel roaster. Like the other reviewers, it seems that they are becoming difficult to find. I have an old larger one used for 'big' roasted/braised dishes like whole chicken and large joints, but this one is just the right size for 2/3 (maybe 4) persons.Cooks like dream and washes up fine. Best 'casserole' dish ever!

I bought two of these round enamel roasters, one 26cm and one 20cm, the smaller one as a xmyth gift. Mine, I have used to roast a small pork joint with enough veggies for two; I've made a chicken casserole; a pasta bake; and a 'whatever's left in the freezer after Xmyth' veggie and rice concoction. It cleans up like new every time.Excellent quality at a very good price.

Wanted a small roaster simply because using our existing large one is probably wasteful and inneffective.This is probably large enough for a smaller bird or joint and is otherwise ideal for two people if used for casseroles etc.The base has circular ridges that will probably help prevent foods sticking to it.

Arrived in good time but, although it states the size, it seems smaller than I pictured it in my mind, which is my fault and not that of the seller. Not as thick as I would have liked so I would rate the product as okay and worth what I paid for it but will be looking for another bigger roaster of better quality.

Arrived well packaged and on time. Used for the first time tonight, to make a slow roasted chicken and lemon dish. Lightweight, lid fits well, slots perfectly into my halogen oven, and works on induction hob. Easy to clean.Only 4 stars as a recent purchase, but will review (and probably upgrade) after more use.

My mother always used one of these and now that I am in my seventies I continue the tradition. It is durable, not too heavy as in the case of cast iron and is large enough to cook a small joint. I also use it on top of my cooker when making gravy. Every kitchen should have one.

I bought this dish for my 80 year old grandma who thought they were no longer available to buy, she was over the moon with this. Her other one lasted her over 20 years so here's hoping to another 20 years with this one. Excellent product, cannot fault.

This was delivered within 3 days, well packaged, well done Amazon seller. This is just large enough for 2 ,i already own a larger one which i use if i am having guests. Can also be used for casseroles. I would recommend the seller and the item.

Really pleased with this. I have used this type of roasting tin for a long time now, and as the old one was looking the worse for wear I was happy to find that this type was still being made as so many items tend to disappear. Really great.

Fabulous little roaster...it would last and last if my 2 year old grandson wasn't playing house with it and hurling it on a rock hard tiled floor...which is chipping it : ( ...not the fault of the item!!! Which is VERY well made!
