I have several of these boards and no longer bother with any other chipping board. They are easy to clean, whether by hand or by dishwasher. They withstand quite a lot of heat (although a hot saucepan placed directly onto it may result in a slight burn mark which spoils its beauty!)The best advantage for older people is how lightweight they are for arthritic hands compared to wooden equivalents of a similar size, and they don't crack along the grain like wooden ones (as there is no grain). They don't blunt your knives like a glass board. They don't mark or damage as easily as plastic ones, so are much longer lasting than all other types.I have had three of these boards in different sizes for nearly 20 years; one has recently acquired a small chip on one corner,

This board is superb in every way.Pleasing to look at, feels good, knives like it and best of all dishwasher safe therefore hygienic.The colour doesn't fade which my previous board did.Light enough to lift with one hand but doesn't move around on the worktop.This and the smaller board would make a lovely present.

TopGourmet quite simply make the best cutting boards. I had my previous one for over five years, and wouldn't have had to replace it if my lovely other half hadn't placed a hot pan on it (Don't do this! It causes the coating to blister) They are hard wearing, never get stained or retain smells, and worth every penny.

I have arthritis in my hands and find most wooden chopping boards too big and bulky to pick up easily. These boards are very light, easy to clean, and are also eco-friendly. Expensive, yes, but they last well. We'd had our first two for well over four years before they started to lose their surface.

Had to buy a non-slip mat for this board (not ideal) and also it still annoys everyone in the household with the noise when chopping. The quality of the board itself is good and it washes well in the dishwasher. Would prefer it to have more grip and a less noisy material.

This did not come as advertised! It is branded as a TopGourmet chopping board but I was sent an Epicurean branded board, however it does appear the same as my original TopGourmet board - however I think the listing should be changed as it is misleading!

I saw this board in the US and managed to find it again on Amazon. It's very good quality with my only slight issue is that it is smooth on both sides and lacks any kind of grip. It is fine on my work surfaces but is something to be aware off.

These boards are expensive, but provide a good cutting surface and easy to clean. This is the second TopGourmet board we have bought and will complement the first, which is still in great condition after several years' daily use.

My now favourite chopping board. You can even use it to dish up and present to food as it's pretty good looking.
