Ecotools Bamboo Foundation Brush is a wonderful brush which applies foundation like a dream. The brush head feels like silk against the skin which holds the foundation without absorbing it, I love how it applies my foundation getting into every nook and cranny.The bristles are made from Taklon bristles which are man-made bristles. Therefore everything about this beautiful brush is cruelty-free which was one of the main buying points for me. Taklon bristles are made to resemble hair and are made in varying thicknesses, this allows the manufacturer to make a softer or thicker brush head. Taklon is also used to make a lot of artist brushes.The Ecotools have produced a lovely brush which also comes in a very handy storage pouch.

This brush is fantastic, its beautifully soft yet firm enough to hold the foundation well and blend it into the skin. I've had this for almost a year now and it's been washed on a weekly basis and has never shed a hair! I just use a bit of foaming facewash on it and leave it out to dry in the airing cupboard, and every time it comes out like new! I would definitely recommend you buy this product, it's absolutely brilliant and I expect it will last for a long long time - an excellent brush and best of all an excellent price!

I have to totally disagree with any negative reviews on here - I have found that hardly any hairs stray from this brush - in my first week of using it - I noticed only one had come loose which really isn't bad going! I have used the brush with a range of foundations and have found that it gives a much smoother and more flawless finish to them all. I don't think the brush holds onto much product and it is very easy to clean with some warm water. Highly recommended!

Fantastic brush! Most importantly, cruelty free and eco friendly but also a great brush. This brush has been a massive step up from applying foundation with my fingers so better for contouring, etc. I would buy another if necessary but it seems well made that it will last a long time. I also have the 5 brush set which is also good! Would definitely recommend this brush.

I just bought this Foundation brush by EcoTools from Boots yesterday. Used it this morning and was amazed at how soft and precise it is. My foundation was applied evenly with no streaks. (I need full coverage and was using Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation). Works like a charm! Definitely recommend this brush. Can't beat vegan cruelty-free affordable brushes!

I bought my first one of these 4 years ago and with regular washing with kids shampoo, which I think I saw in my mums Prima magazine of all places, the bristles have remained soft and only just now have they stated to fall out.

The best foundation brush I’ve ever used. Not too soft and the brush keeps its shape when covering tricky areas like side of nose and around mouth. Such a bargain and washes well. I am very happy with my purchase.

Extremely good quality. I actually use it to set powderon and around my nose as that’s my main oily zone.It’s the softness but the directness of the bristles thatmakes it right for my task.

lovely brush and very precise. very soft on your skin and really evens out your make up when applied and so worth it for the price....great brush. definitely recommended.

Excellent tool to apply foundation, I've cleaned it a few times and left to dry over night and it's as good as new again.
