I have a wide-ish foot and depending on width of shoe I need between a 5 1/2 and a 6. I bought the 6 in this and it is a wee bit on the long side. That said - I have worn them several times in the last week and it really feels like I'm hardly wearing shoes at all. They are completely comfortable from the moment you put them on and they are completely quiet... now I know that sounds strange - but they really do let you move around silently.... not that I have noticed other shoes being noisy - but I noticed a lack of sound with these.... ravings of a mad woman - possibly - but just thought I'd mention it! I love them. I had ummed and ahhed about buying them as the desire to purchase was based on a long past memory (over 20 years)

Absolutely love, love, love these super soft leather trainers. They are perfect for work as nice and fitted round the ankle so even slim leg trousers hang over nicely. I had gone off Ecco over recent years as some of the high-tops I've bought from the Covent Garden store in last 2 years have been hard, not worn in well and so pinched all over my feet - but not these babies! As soon as I put them on they felt like gloves and needed no wearing in at all. I've taken out the removable insoles and put my orthotic ones inside instead. They really are incredibly soft and gently mould around my feet (bunions and all!). I'm so happy with them I've ordered another pair of black to keep in the wardrobe for when these wear out,

I bought these boots for my 79 year old mother who finds it difficult to get footwear that is supportive but not old fogey-ish. These boots look attractive but are also incredibly comfortable. She loves the soft leather and the low wedge is perfect for her. I tried them on myself and they felt very confortable. One review mentioned that the laces were very short but that wasn't the case with the boots that I bought.

Lovely shoes - these were the only pair my othotist would approve for fitting my specially made insoles into. Well made and very comfortable I was trying to get a pair in white but unfortunately they are out of stock.

These boots are fabulous but why the ridiculously short laces? They just about tie up and I don't have a wide foot nor chunky ankles. Fortunately, if they do come undone they aren't long enough to trip me up!

These boots are so comfortable its like wearing a pair of beautiful soft leather gloves on your feet. I have worn them two full days in a row and I feel like I am gliding along. Really happy with my purchase.

Had these boots over the years and they never disappoint or go out of fashion. They are light, comfy and soft. Hard wearing and good with skirts as well as trousers. Don't stop making them Ecco

Im a standard size 5 and these were about a centimetre too long, althought the width was fine. Having said that the fit is good, and they are supremely comfortable.

Thay were originally called so soft boot after my stroke they were the only help I had to walk .over the last 27 years I have had 40 pairs all so brilliant

Brilliant and comfortable...always had tired feet at the end of the day...not with these bad boys..definitely recommend this product.

Had had same shoes before and ECCO are a good brand. Nice shoes which last a long time and are very comfortable.

Extremely comfortable and practical. I bought them as work shoes and they are great to wear all day on my feet.

Nice but unexpectedly make my feet hurt after a few hours, under arch is very hard! Shame
