Being as Bioshock is now show showing its age and the multiple times I have played the Original and Infinite I personally now regard the Dishonoured series amongst my favourite games. This steampunk stealth adventure series with its interesting protagonists and equally if not better antagonists years later I still find interesting places to visit. The sequel significantly upped the ante graphically but the cell shaded aesthetic of the original still looks good to me. "The Void or nothingness is a Buddhist term for the illusory nature of worldly things" and is mentioned in the Book Of Five Rings and I often ponder if that's where Arkane took inspiration from. The freedom Arkane affords you in environmental exploration in terms of open ended objectives makes these titles so engaging. The grand extravagant interiors and dimly filthy streets ooze atmosphere and style.Teleportation is replaced by displace which drops an ethereal image of yourself which you warp to at will. Your Void energy refills replacing the need for elixirs. Being as I prided myself on completing the first two without killing anyone I don't like that going lethal or non-lethal isn't rewarded or reflected in altering the game world. The Death Of The Outsider is a fitting conclusion to a wonderful series which I highly recommend.

Few things to know about this game- It's set after dishonoured 2 (which is set after the original dishonoured) and the plot, whilst understandable enough on its own, does contain minor spoilers for the first two games and is probably better experienced after playing them (Especially the first dishonoured's DLC)- It is quite short, only being 5 levels long, but each are large levels and have a contract system giving more sub missions for each place.- Limited powers and no progression. Unlike the earlier games where you have to collect runes across the map to choose and upgrade your powers from a selection, DotO gives you your powers fully upgraded throughout the campaign.Bone charms are still there to collect (with some buffed ones) and used to customize your playstyle more than before. I personally liked this as you get to use all the toys when you get them, and it suits the shorter playtime of this game.- Mana fully regenerates, meaning no pesky searching for potions- There is no chaos system in this game, so feel free to kill.- Hook minesOverall I say its a definite buy for those who are fans of the series, and a good romp for those who aren't and just want a short stealthy stabby game

I loved the 1st and 2nd games, but for me this has been the most fun I've had playing the series. I've just finished a 2nd (blood-filled) playthrough after my preferred stealthy run the 1st time round, just to pick up the last of the achievements. The Bank Job mission remained the obvious highlight - it was incredibly satisfying to run through, crack open the vault and escape unseen the first time round, and very nearly as thrilling to go on a chaotic rampage the second. The level design and world building on offer from Arkane in this particular part of the city is unmatched. If Dishonored 1 and 2 were a cup of coffee, think of this as the espresso equivalent: a little shorter but noticeably more intense. The character abilities have been pared down to the essentials which focuses the play in my opinion- the character dialogues, art direction (akin to playing through an art gallery) and gameplay in general are the best I've seen.At less than £10 it's superb value for money - stealth playthroughs you can easily expect to sink 10/15 quality hours into it! And the icing on cake, never had one game crash (an issue I experienced all the time in the 2nd game)

The game has 5 whole missions. It's a very short game if you blitz your way through the story, my current fastest run just killing everything and speeding through the story is about 1 and a half hours or so.However each level has a ton of depth. There are contracts for the first 4 missions which are basically sub-quests and ask you to complete tasks around the level in creative ways. There's also numerous ways to actually complete the main missions also. Without spoiling much, there's about 3 ways I've found to complete the bank robbery so far (and probably a couple more too). And as with all dishonored games, you have the 100% stealth approach which adds a whole new challenge. If you have played the series before this I totally recommend it.As a standalone game if you want to try it, it's very cheap

Amazing game following in from the first two.You play as Billy Lurk who you may remember from dishonoured 2. If you haven’t played then don’t worry as this can still be appreciated as it’s own stand alone game. For those that have played the powers and feel of the game are similar to the first two. It is a relative quick play through too as with the other two can be played through multiple times for different endings.

This is a great game but not as good as dishonored 2 The new powers are fun but there is not much of a story it's a skeletal framework and it's quite short and fits in with the other dishonored games and even answers some questions from the other games The graphics are great The combat is visceral bloody and violent Worth having and at a great price

This is a great continuation for Dishonored 2 and I was surprised by how much new content is included for this cheaper stand alone game. There are new powers which are a blast to use and they open up all kinds of strategies not possible in the previous game. It's great stuff and I really hope there's a third game on the way.

50h worth of fun gaming, longer if you re-do with different skills assigned or redo individual missions to get a better rating. Would recommend to anyone that likes mission orientated gaming with brutal combat attack moves, a few puzzles, and has patience for the more covert missions.

Great story and gameplay, a must to complete your Dishonerd collection. New to the franchise then make sure you play Dishonerd 1 and 2 first, it might sound obvious but some gamers will try and play this first and won't know what the hell is going on. Enjoy it to the full.

I have all the other Dishonored titles, and this one is just as good, in my opinion this is one of the best action and stealth games you can buy, so much too do, so this makes the gameplay worth while. Real value for money at less than £10.

It's dishonored ,what can i say? As in previous instalments and add ons just brilliant gameplay,a believable world an gripping carracters.

Good game in a great series, love everything about this and the others in the series . Played them all so many times .

21.9.2017

A satsfying ending to the Dishonored story arc. About 8 hours of gameplay and more challenging than the main games.

30.9.2017

Game is good and worth the money for a small game in the Dishonoured franchise.
