ALthough I haven't bought this model, I would not hesitate to buy a Cullmann model, even if made in China due to their outstanding customer support. I have a simillar 'Popular #1600' tripod bought over 30 years ago. A plastic part of the head finally cracked after all these years of use and Cullmann customer service offered to repair it free of charge. Such support is an increasing rarity nowadys.

This is a very stable tripod built with quality in mind. I think its built to really support 7 kg and its among best in its class. Also great for tall people. Can be easily used with the central column minimally extended by a 1.90 m tall person.Great product overall!
