I own a well built Alienware with a great processor, a fast SSD and a very good video card. Nevertheless, the 8 GB of RAM installed never had the punch I was looking for. Processing large files for work, such as 12-13 GB 3d pictures and scenes was a little on the sluggish side. I already had a ritual back then, press save or export than go and have a cup of tea... Now things are different. Installed 4 memory DIMM's, 8 GB each and now the software I use flies! Noticed a lot of improvement in games as well. After a little research the Corsair Vengeance stands out above Crucial or any other similar Memory module. It overclocks itself to deliver and the computer feels it.It won't show visible improvements if facebook or solitaire is your thing, but running a couple of archiving processes at the same time, exporting a 12 gig 3d scenario (also at the same time), running windows update and yes, reading facebook too will most probably ruin your day without these babies. I am very pleased with the result.

Really good ram, only expected a heatspreader instead of a sticker. No problem as i dont need that, it speeded up my m6600 dell really good compared to the 4 gb ram in it.Bad news after 3 months ( no overclocking or weird stuff ) they both died, more than 10 bluescreens, 2 per day.Good thing is that i can replace them, by sending them to corsair ( netherlands )Bad thing, it takes time and am soon out of the country for more then 3 months :)In anyway i might order 2 again so i can have quick power again 16gb must be fair enough for a workstation + 3dmax and gaming.I will give this memory and brand 4 stars as suddenly they died in my laptop without any overclock or tooling around. If i have thenew 16 gb set ill write a new review :)

I have a Sony VPCF23N1E which has an Intel® Core(tm) i7-2670QM Processor, and after reading tons of technical specifications from all different kind of CPUs and laptop manufacturers, I decided to get my hands on this to compliment my SSD. All I can say I should have done it earlier as everything has just become a lot quicker like my boot time is well under 20 seconds.I have also uploaded couple of screen shots to show that even if Sony states that the maximum ram their product can read is 8GB it can actually read more depending on the CPU.AND LASTLY, BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY OF ALL, THE CORSAIR VENGEANCE IS OUTSTANDING!

I wanted to boost my laptop (2 yeas old).I did buy this, on top of a new HSSD from Seagate, from experts recommendations, and pc performances are better, system more stable, overall faster in execution, just with the RAM It over-clocks by itself, and so is a very cleaver component.Their is nothing better than this ram at the moment I am writing. Obviously change perception is relative to what kind of RAM you had before. Here are the different ones:PC3-6400,PC3-8500, (I had 6Go of this)PC3-10600,and PC3-12800 (now 8Go of that!)Enjoy the boost!

'Vengeance', what a ridiculous tag for computer memory - nearly put me off but it was the best price-performance around at the time. This was destined for a late 2012 Mac mini. The latencies of 9-9-9-24 are slightly superior to the 11-11-11-27 of the widely available equivalent Kingston and Crucial SODIMMs which were more expensive by quite a margin. There are occasional suggestions on some forums that Corsair sticks can give problems in Macs but these two met the specification and passed a memory test perfectly.

I purchased 2 of these to increase the ram in my macbook pro mid 2012 to 8gb. Great product and excellent value as the cheapst 2x 4gb kit I found was £57 and it was only about £38 for a pair of these. They work without any problems in the macbook and show a great improvement in performance especially as I use Parallels to run windows 8 and can alocate more ram to each operating system.

I wanted to upgrade my mid 2012 15" macbook pro from the factory 4gb of ram to 16gb ram - even though apple only offer an upgrade up to 8gb, 16gb works perfectly! (they offer 16gb on the retina and it is the same processor in both of them.) Corsair ram works great for me and having run memory tests which puts the ram under full strain it passed with flying colours. Great Product :)

Came in good packaging. Easy to install. Works very well. Recommend to anyone that wants to boost his laptop!PS: Installed it in a Asus n56vz modelUPDATED REVIEW:I had to send the RAM back... With Asus n56vz it just wasn't stable and from time to time the laptop would just crash randomly. I think it's the timings CL9... not sure.At least for me it didn't work, unfortunately.

I have a slightly older MSI GE60 laptop, which had a hard drive failure last week. As a student, this was a no-no; ordered a Kingston SSD, and thought why not get some more RAM? I love Corsair Vengeance and it is the only RAM I ever use in my desktops (used the 16GB 3200Mhz in my recent Skylake upgrade, and it really is somehting). Works for DDR3 DIMM slots, not that pesky DDR3L.

Installed in my 2012 13 inch macbook pro without any issues. Noticed that chrome does not seem to crash anymore when multitasking as previously it was maxing out my 4gb ram.OSX recognises the 1600mhz speed and there does not seem to be any issues with compatibility. I personally think this is a lot better than the overpriced apple specific ram or a upgrade direct from apple.

As per title this RAM works on the xps17 L702x model with 2 slots. Dell will tell you they support max of 8GB (2x4), but clearly their customer service is not that knowledgeable (To their defence they shift a lot of configurations). Also, be aware that other especially cheaper RAM may not work. I bought Komputerbay first and it did not work with this model of Dell laptop.

Awesome memory. I m using them on my Dell Vostro V131 i3-core 2310M therefore i only get speeds up to 1333MHz however, this item was only about 1pound more expensive than the "value" crucial memories @1333MHz..so i thought what the heck ;-). They look amazing and run very nice. Would recommend not only to laptops with i5 or i7 but also with i3 due to the appealing price.

Wish it was CL9 like the 2x4Gb but I doubt I'd see the difference.Laptop came with 6Gb, a 4Gb and a 2Gb but it wasn't quite enough. 8Gb didn't seem to be worth the jump so plumped for this.Very simple to install, immediately recognised and haven't really used more than 7Gb so they'll last longer than the rest of the laptop. Excellent value for so much RAM.

Upgrade was simple and easy as always. No technological background required, a quick google/youtube search will teach you how to upgrade the RAM in your MacBook Pro. These modules have worked a treat, I have had no trouble from them at all up-to-now (touch wood). Well worth the price to double the stock RAM and give ANY PC or Mac some extra breathing space.

31.3.2013

I have installed these modules in a mid 2012 15' MacBook Pro. Even though it is not officially supported, my computer works flawlessly. Responsiveness is great. There was not a single kernel panic or other problem and you can be sure that I stress my computer to its limits. As far as I can tell it a good choice and perhaps more importantly trouble free.
