The only problem with "Denied Ops" is that it throws you right in to the action without any kind of tutorial and the controls are far from instinctive. Rather, it's a complicated system whereby you swap between two very differently skilled characters (a sniper and a heavy gunner) and function as a team using a combination of user-driven AI and strategic hot-swapping between personnel. So rather than being a straight shooter, this lends the game play a far more strategic edge. For the first twenty minutes or so I was utterly baffled and tearing my hair out but, once you get of the hang of it, wow, this game is incredible. It's been rocking my world for two nights solid now.

I wanted a straight-up shooter with a simple storyline and uncomplicated gameplay.That is exactly what I got here.The weapons mechanics are OK but do not feel as realistic as in a Call of Duty or Battlefield game.The game controls are not as smooth as in other triple-A titles but not terrible either. It felt like an early '360 shooter.Visually the game looks OK but is not stunning by any means, certainly not as impressive as the bigger-budgeted CoD and Battlefield games.However there's a nice variety of settings to progress through: forests, deserts, snow, etc.The gameplay is kept interesting by the fact that you can switch between the two characters to either snipe or go assault.The storyline has a typical 'Covert ops'

So i load it up and begin playing the first mission, 10 minutes later the games back in the case and i am online on COD4. Later that night i decide to try it again, the second mission i find as bad as the first but when i reach the 3rd the game becomes great, i did 5 more missions that night and have been glued to it since.The graphics are good(nealy as good as COD4, the buttons take a while getting used to(My friend tells me there the same as HALO3 buttons)and the AI is very good and the destructable enviroments give it a edge on even the Top FPS. A downside is the switch to a 2 man team and the 1st person view from the classic 3rd person seen in all over Conflict games also that you have to keep the same two guns and you can't pick up an Ak-47 of the floor.

At first i played the demo - just liked the old school play - but once i purchased for about 16 - and tried the online play - i was really disappointed - forgot about online play - there is something very wrong here - either the designers were working part-time with no holiday pay - or they thought this was really funny - better to have omitted the online play and sold a old classicnevertheless i'm sure they realised this - so i am thinking - there are a lot of people who either colour blind or just think it is meant to be collected as a souvenir of what ps3 does not representotherwise funnily i was happy - playing ps3 games so far has been mind blowing on my illyama 24" 1080p (cheapest monitor

I think this game is quality you must have a black and white Television to say its not very good. The graphics are on it are one of the best and to be honest whether £39.99 or £24.99 its worth every penny

this game is fun and maybe is abit lacking in gameplay and graphics but it is quite exiting and i enjoyed playing it espeicaly online. plus good co op

Tactical fun! Not just a FPS but has a variant of Ghost recon except easier than using that damn drone, just goes to overhead and the fun begins!
