Of course there are loads of newer up dates in the FS catalogue, BUT this still stands as a bench mark, and is vastly improved with a Concorde and Airbus. Those two European developments have given air-travel a new dimension, and here you can try them yourself! the Airbus aircraft are much like the FS supplied Boeing 737, only the detailing of the cockpit is better and the general appearance is stunning. Cooncorde is a completely diffrent kettle of fish altogether.Concorde epitomised so much that seemed to be human achievement, and it was half British (nearly!). All that changed when one crashed leaving no survivors and some on the ground. Well now you try it yourself, and see how jolly difficult flying Concorde is,even trying to avert such a crash if possible. This program has most of what a real Concorde pilot would recognise, and flight dynamics that match. the opnly problem is that FS 98 doesn't handle supersonic flight too well. A bit shaky sometimes! Anyway, the flexibility of FS98 is so massive, that you can choose pretty much what you want to fly or where you fly too. the supplied aircraft and adventures are great stuff. the landscape is plotted from stallite pictures, anmd the textures are none too bad. I've just flown the helicopter around Washington DC. It has the landmarks of 45 cities, and the airport details are pretty good too. for a real treat try flying over (or through) London, New York, Paris or Hawaii! The detail is satisfyingly realistic, and with some other add-ons it becomes something stunning. There has never been an easier way to yoom over God's creation!

I owned a copy of the original release of the FS98, but the disc has been through a lot sine then and finally decided to give up working. I was looking Amazon to see how much I could buy the program again and I was shocked at how much it was - ranging from £30-£40. When I found this set of discs I instantly bought it because of the extremely low price. It arrived in two days and I installed FS98 to the computer as soon as I gt the chance. The Airbus disc works perfectly, but the Concorde addon kept crashing my computer and wouldn't let me install it. This however was remedied as the game has a feature which lets you install downloaded aircraft to your game without having to worry about buyingexpensive addon packages online.
