Just like other slot cars I own, this benefitted from truing the wheels and tyres. I prefer how they run with the rear magnet removed. With that done it runs well, smooth, controllable drifts. The picture doesn't really do the car justice, it looks really good. Edit - after a little more testing and timed laps it has become apparent that the Ford GT car with both magnets removed is somewhat slower to lap and more prone to de-slotting than any other Carrera car I own (I have 6 others, 5 are equivalent GT race cars, one a classic LeMans race car). With the front magnet only fitted it runs very well.
