I'm afraid that - at present - the alarm is resting happily in its wrappings because I find it difficult to understand the instructions. As is the case with many of todays mechanical, electrical and/or computerised items I am not much use in assembling or setting up. This is - no doubt - due to that old enemy- age. However I am fortunate in having grandchildren who breeze through such things and I hope to have the alarm installed and working in a few weeks time when someone is available to deal with it.

Bought this item despite the earlier review – and have no problems with the product, installation was easy (just a few screws). The alarm is as loud as my smoke alarm; enough to alert me/startle anyone that does try to get into my shed and the fact I don't have to carry a fob around with me is great. Cheap, well put together and just what I wanted – so 5*.

I bought this item after buying a new lawnmower and wanted something to alert me if someone was trying to get in! This seemed to suit the bill especially for the price and when it arrived I wasn't disappointed - easy to set up (i followed the instructions on the card) and I don't need a keyfob to disarm!.For the money this is a great product!

Simple enough to use when you can see the instructions. Definitely needs to be in bigger print. Once you've sussed it out it is quite simple and effective. Loud enough to hopefully put off any potential burglars.

works well a bit weird getting use to how it works but when worked out it does good. contact goes both sides but has to be built up for double glazed doors

Very pleased with this alarm , simple to set up , instructions clear enough to understand but wording could be larger , magnifying glass required

Does what it's meant to do. It's not as simple to use as some that are on the market. Sometimes the keys don't always register.
