Took approximately 10 attempts to connect the sensor to the hub, as it struggled to find it, despite it being next to the hub. Eventually it worked and all seemed fine but once the sensor was fitted to the front door, it stopped working. Unfortunately it's then hard to remove the device to reset it, as it's already been stuck on! Doesn't seem to do what it's intended for but could be somewhat attributed to the internet connection, in theory. Was planning to buy another for the back door but shan't bother now.

We were hoping to get an audible notification from the app on the phone. This unfortunately is not the case so you are left constantly checking your phone to see if the sensor has been activated and the window opened. This then is of no practical use to us except to have a log of when the window was opened and closed.

bought it to monitor the entrance door. No way to configure it / set it up according to the instructions with the dLink Home Hub (DCH-G020). Starts pairing but does not recognize the sensor. Can not recommend the product, I will return it immediately.
