My children (daughter 4 and son 2) love this and play with it a lot. They construct random track shapes and spend hours driving trains around on it. The storage boxes it comes with are also really useful for packing it away.One criticism I have though is the cost of this set and other Brio toys. They are all really really expensive for what you get. This is something to remember if you are thinking of adding to this set.

Fantastic set; has a little bit of everything (airport, ferry pier...). Our 2 year-old loves it (we've kept all the smaller accessories packed away for now); very good for learning and identifying colours and objects, and using simple mechanisms (pressing buttons, winding up cranes etc.). The wood is fairly robust, but can split, we've had to use a bit of wood glue to make repairs less than 6 month in.

Bought for my son - he loves it, and so do I! Has a bit of everything (a boat, a plane, 3 trains and some cars) and seems much better value than the individual sets.
