I absolutely LOVE this series of Brio World toys. They're top quality, a perfect size for little hands, and I think are suitable from 2-7 years. Yes some parts are plastic, but it's good quality and makes the cost achievable for more people. They still feel very much like wooden toys when playing with them, as the wooden parts are where you hold.

I am a preschool teacher and do a unit on boats, this container ship and crane was great, we live in Seattle and have lots of shipping activity so my young students have seen this, and now get to 'play' and work with this. Get small muscle, eye hand, etc. Very popular and great for taking turns!

Absolutely perfect gift for our 3yr old grandson who is mad on Brio and his Brio Train Set. he spent hours loading and unloading the cargo boat - great gift and up to standard we have come to expect from Brio..

Given as a 3rd birthday present to my son. He loves the boat and the crane. The cargo bays open displaying magnetic cargo. A great addition to his wooden railway collection.

I have a 2year old that loves this and has no problem playing with it ther are no bits that are too small. And the crane fits onto his magnetic train set . Worth the money

Well made toy which fits well with railway system. My son plays with the crane bit more than the boat but both good addition to the railway

Brio products are great, well designed and worry free and when bought through Amazon very well priced if you check thoroughly.

My grandson eagerly opened the box and proceeded to spend hours playing with this. Lots of play value and worth every penny.
