I was looking for a good sized bin with a dome top and manual push opening, and this Brabantia one met all these requirements. It's solid, well-made, as you'd expect for the price. The Matt steel surface is easy to keep clean, though I find it tricky to wipe the opening flap without taking the top completely off. It has enough capacity for family use without needing emptied every other day. This is a LARGE bin so make sure you have space for it.

I adore this bin! Odd thing to say about a bin but it adds character to a normally boring kitchen item! It is quite large which is great as you don't have to keep emptying it (we use it as a recycling bin) and have knicknamed it the 'blobby bin!'

This is an excellent kitchen bin, elegant and well designed and built. It is very expensive but if you look after it the investment will be worth it.
