My kitchen is very small and awkwardly shaped and there's just no place a bin can go where it won't be in the way. I've always just kept grocery bags on the floor for food waste and other rubbish - inconvenient, messy, and needs to be taken out every day. This Brabantia is the perfect solution. I love that it's mountable (although I have nowhere to mount it!) and it's very compact. We keep it in a corner in front of some drawers (like I said, nowhere else to put it!) and if I need access to the drawers it's small and light and easy to move out of the way. The fingerprint proof finish is ideal for a kitchen, where you want to avoid any extra cleaning if possible,

Pricey, but very very worth it. Have had it for about 8 months and having such a substantially-made and good-looking bit of kit beside the sink in the kitchen, which opens/closes by a tap on the lid, makes all the difference. As other reviewers have noted, some of us have had lid problems: essentially the fastening-clip doesn't seem to work if it's the slightest bit wet. I emailed Brabantia who sent another lid by return of post almost, so I have one-on and one-in-the-wash (or drying). Or there is a guy on you-tube who solved the problem by drilling (small) air-holes - if you're up to a bit of DIY. The only other thing to say is that you are better to buy oversize bags (swing lid size),

This bin is worth every penny - fits very neatly in the cupboard under my kitchen sink and thankfully I didn't have to resort to one of those really annoying bins that is fixed to the door where the lid opens even though you are going in the cupboard for something else.Excellent buy and it really is fingerprint proof. Would highly recommend and will probably get another for my bathroom!

I wanted a brushed steel finish, a small but practical bin (I hate to keep much waste in the kitchen as it can lead to stale smells) and it had to have a touch top lid. This little bin meets all my requirements and is really easy to empty. On top of that it is even guaranteed for 10 years and it really is finger-print proof. I love my new bin :-)

I like the way the lid operates because I find I have to kick a peddle bin around to get the peddle in the right position. Others have had problems with the functionality of the mechanism but I haven't. Maybe Bratantia have addressed this issue. It's a bit expensive for a small kitchen bin but hopefully you get what you pay for.

Really good quality, very good size for bathroom. Keeps all the smells in- we use it in bathroom and have babies nappies- no smell of we forget to change it for day or two (except when u lift the lid to remove bag !). Really good size- recommend in bathroom- much better than the tiny ones which get full so easily!

Extremely pleased with this 10 L fingerprint proof Matt steel bin which is a perfect shape for my bathroom. I will say that it is worth spending a little more to get the "fingerprint proof" bin. Prior to this order I ordered a 3L push lid bin. So disappointed. It was not finger proof and showed every splash mark.

Let me first say I love the product. But when you look at it it is just a waste bin made of mostly plastic and a wall bracket.So it is a waste bin, and it works well as a waste bin. It is not on the ground in the way of my mop and bucket. Get the picture? It is way too expensive for a bin but I bought it anyway.

Very pleased with this product, initially thought it a bit small, however, have now decided it's a great size as it does not encourage you to keep a bin full of rubbish. Very easy to change liner and keep clean as inner bin lifts out. Very neat in small kitchen.

Since bins are so visible in a kitchen, for me it's worth the extra cost to buy a relatively attractive one. I like the matt steel fingerprint proof finish, the fact the bin liner is concealed and it serves its purpose. Excellent service and delivery.

I love the Branbantia touch bins and wanted a small one for the bathroom. I would have liked one even smaller but this is still great. Fits in perfectly and I don't have that annoying thing with a pedal bin where the whole bin lurches forward.

We use our bin for recycling our peelings & waste food. It’s the perfect size and is easy to clean. We also have 2 large cylindrical 30l bins one for recycling paper and the other for general rubbish. Wouldn’t buy anything else but Brabantia.

Perfect item.This bin does not have a pedal which can send metal lids crashing into paintwork and cupboards etc,so it causes no damage.Comes in various sizes to suit householders needs.Easy to operate and needs no batteries.

This bin is excellent for us. We use it for general waste but also use recycling bins for paper etc and a food waste bin. It is very neat and easy to maintain its excellent appearance. It is just what I was looking for!

A great bin - good design and very high quality manufacturing. If you need a small capacity bin then buy this one - you’ll be as pleased as I am. I saw cheaper bins but I decided that they would be a false economy.
