I liked the look of this game the moment I saw it but I wasn't entirely sure when or if I should play it because of the reception it got and how overlooked it was compared to the Black Mirror trilogy. I am so glad I decided to ignore that.I was hooked on this game from the moment the intro started, everything about it intrigued me. I wanted to know what was happening, what I had to be doing or who the main character. The game immediately draws you in into something interesting happening, it's not a slow start but more fast paced. So much better then Black Mirror 2 which had a good intro and music but had a boring and slow story.As soon as I started the first chapter in this Black Mirror reboot,all I wanted to do was to explore and know much more about the story. Every character I came across I wanted to talk to, every area in the mansion I wanted to investigate. My favorite thing about the game is the story and atmosphere, the atmosphere reminds me of the Woman in Black because of the lighting of the game, the dark, the lamp and candle that David holds, his dark clothes, the setting and sometimes you get an eerie feeling that something is watching you.The game did have it's faults though, some of the puzzles were boring and tedious, the load times could have been better and the game is way too short. Why didn't they add more locations ? Like Willow Creek from the original. Seeing that in PS4 graphics would have been great. The story had it's convoluted moments too.There was emotional moments in the game and it had a good soundtrack which made it better.Please try this game, it deserves SO much more praise then it received. I love games with interesting stories and this game really ticked that box. This game could have been a masterpiece but it was far from being that great.I don't judge a game because it has bugs or not great face animations, I just want to feel innovation while I'm playing a game and enjoy the story.8.3/10 I'm so glad I experienced this game in October 2019.

This is a game only for those who like detective adventure games. There's not any combat or much in the way of guidance to where you have to go next.But if you are able to get lost in the games story and like the idea of needing to find your own way to solve a mystery then this may be a game for you.This game can be a bit janky at sometimes though. Fixed camera angles can make something as simple as walking hard when the camera angle changes. Some of the faces can become a bit eldrich and animations can look wrong.However for me the majority of the voice acting and the overall mystery kept me interested enough to finish the game and also go back for any missed trophies.

Glad I managed to snap this up while it was cheap. I encountered several bugs which had me repeat sections (luckily there is a chapter select), and issues with textures. The game is about 4-5hrs long, so it works out at about a £1 an hour which isn't that bad. There is a guide on TrueAchievements and the game is an easy 100% if you're interested in that.

I’m actually enjoying this game, reviews had me worried but I’m pleased with it , the loading screens are abit much and to many of them but they come and go just as quick , it’s abit like resident evil with the opening door every time? but I’m enjoying the story and well can’t complain when it’s less then a 10a, very pleased with my delievery thankyou!

What a unexpected great game. Think of Sherlock Holmes mixed with parts from the woman in black!! Ok controls aren't great and graphics aren't the best but the atmosphere and story are top notch, had me gripped from start to finish. Definitely one that will hold pride in my collection of horror games!

It’s not to long took me about 3/4 hours, that’s the bad bit. I loved the story think they should make more games like this. I Would definitely recommend.I did trade mine in once complete so did not find price too bad in the end.

Story is brilliant and voice actors were excellent. however, its let down by some lazy animation and average graphics. Controls are basically one step about thank controls but hey at least it's an easy platinum
