Brilliant!! Our little 19 month old Loves itHaving looked around and we had previously bought a chair style one, which like all the reviews mention - if the child leans forward too much - they tend to flip overNOT THE CASE WITH THIS ONEITS PERFECT!safe, secure, plenty of room for growth. If I can mention the ropes were a bit short, but we have hooked to ceiling hooks rather than a swing frame, so I can't comment. It may be fine with a frame. But all in all, extremely happy.Nice and sturdy, finished to a great standardSmooth edges to endure child safety.Albeit I needed to place a non slip mat on the seat as its varnished it can make it a little slippery.

We have been using a plastic swing seat on our little girl's first outdoor swing. She was never comfortable in it, and stopped asking to go in the swing. We have now bought this cradle swing and it is brilliant! Unfortunately we haven't been able to try it on the swing frame yet due to the amount of snow outside! However, we have had a go at putting our 22 month old to swing in it in the house and she thinks it is brilliant! As another review said, it looks small, but is very spacious. Hopefully it will last her a couple of years, although I do wish we had found it sooner, as she would have had more enjoyment from it.

We bought this swing to hang from a door frame indoors for our 14 month old granddaughter who is as tall as a 2 year old. It is ideal. Traditional wood, which is a plus amongst lots of plastic toys, and high sides all round which keeps her secure. She loves to play with the 2 wooden beads at the front while swinging. There is plenty of room on the seat. The ropes are made of strong nylon.The only negative comment is that it is not easy to get her legs through the bottom; but that is more than made up for by the sheer enjoyment on her face.Delivery was within the time mentioned and well packed.

This is a good old style, very safe swing for toddlers. It was easy to put up although slightly longer ropes would have been helpful. I fitted it to an existing metal swing frame which left it a bit high off the ground but still perfectly usable. As delivered, it is only just big enough for my 15 month old grandson (who is quite a big lad). It needs some wriggling to get his legs through between the seat and lowest bar. Looks as if it could be adjusted by changing the position of the coloured balls separating the seat and bars but I have not tried this yet. Overall very good value for money.

This met more than my expectation for the money. I was a little concerned at first glance in pictures that it would not be safe for my 10mth old grandson who has already climbed out of a highchair whilst strapped in! I need not have worried, the seat fits far higher around him and he is very secure in it.... And LOVES it!My son fitted this outside to the underside of their balcony using hooks from local DIY store. It is perfect. As for durability of swing, I cannot comment as of yet, but 3 wks in and used daily and numerous times... Its a winner so far!

We brought this as her first birthday present and she loves it! we have attached it to our garden swing frame and it swings great, she sits in securely and it looks and feels great, the wood is lovely and natural, there are no sharp edges or splinters. She likes the beads and her siblings enjoy playing with her in it, lots of smiles and great snaps with the camera!My three year old has had a good swing in it too! the t-bar can be raised to fit bigger children and it swings just as well with the weight! Its very sturdy!

Nice little product, nice design and sturdy. I douched all the rope holes with some lye oil (as these holes seemed to have little or no protection against weather and would be the first source of rot) and gave the whole thing 2 further coats of clear yacht varnish - well worth it. Only other thing, the manufacturers may wish to reconsider the scale of this product compared to the actual size of the recommended age groups.In other words, it could be doing with being a little bit bigger.

Bought this seat to replace a standard seat swing that my 18month old wouldn't quite manage balancing on. Seems strange that a seat made of solid wood is cheaper than the plastic alternatives.The seat is colourful, comfy and safe. Incredibly easy to install. The fasteners on the front are a good idea and allow the leg holes to expand making it easier to get his legs in and then can tighten if you really need to stop him climbing out easily. Much better than a fixed shape swing.

A while ago we had purchased a toddler/baby swing with folding frame however the seat was fabric and it ripped so we needed a new seat. After looking at plastic ones and seeing other reviews of how they were snapping we opted for this. This seat is fantastic, so bulky and expensive looking. However, I just wanted to let anyone else looking to do what we did the heads up that this is meant for a standard size swing frame and not a baby/toddler size frame ! I hope this helps :)

Nice and sturdy swing seat. I usually take it into the house when it's raining and I know we won't use it for a few days. Could probably be left outside. My 14 months old daughter isn't that bothered about using it yet but am sure once she's a bit older, she'll enjoy it more.When it arrived, one of the coloured beads was broken (another reviewer had the same experience) but I contacted the supplier and got another one in the post.V good value for money, I believe!

We wanted a classic-looking swing to hang from the apple tree in our garden rather than something plastic. It looks great and visitors always comment on it and ask where it came from. Our daughter (who was about 7 months when we bought it) loves it. My friend's little boy, who is 18 months, has also been in it and enjoyed it just as much. The only criticism would be that in order to attach it to the branch, we needed to buy more rope.

This swing was a lot nicer and well made than I thought it would be, the only 'putting together' was to fasten the tape! Fast delivery. The only downside if you can call it one is that it will most probably only fit until the child is rising 3 at the maximum as the seat does not seem very wide and the gap between the seat and the first bar is narrow which is excellent when the child is small but could be tight on a larger child.

The swing seat is perfect for my swing frame, we have had a lot of fun and it was easy to fit.Love the look as quiet old fashioned looking to other brands but why pay more when this one fits the job perfectly.Ok i will have to take it off and store it in bad weather but who plays on a swing in the rain any way.The seat was packaged perfectly and arrived within the Amazon 5 working days.Buy one you will not regret it:)

This product is really good and my daughter had great fun using it. However she got bored after 2 weeks and does not want to go on a swing too often.To mount it in the door frame we had to buy hooks which are screwed to the frame and carabiner clips. The assembly was straightforward and the toy looks to be durable.She is 1.5yrs old and there is still room for her so hopefully she would like to use it later as well.

Product arrived promptly and is of a good quality finish. This was for a 6 month old baby to be fitted to an existing swing set. The seat was perfect for a small baby, he could sit in it without any assistance and giggled continuously as he was swung back and forth. Looking at the size, this will also be good for a couple of years of use as it would fit a small child up to two years old. Would recommend this product.
