Purchased the "Little Tikes First Slide" for my niece's first birthday, decision to purchas was based on previous Little Tikes purchases, and hence trusting the brand, plus the it seemed an ideal size as a starter slide and that it collapsed down for easy storage when not in use. After the unwrapping, we were pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to assemble, no tools required at all, bonus! The stairs literally slot rather snugly into the top of the slide, and the 2 hand rails slot and then clip into the slide, assembly time all of about 2 minutes :)My niece as well as the other littlun's at the party loved playing on the side.My only concern could have been the fact that there is no hand rail to climb up with, but as she is young, she will obviously be aided/supervised anyway. The only negative i have and hence the -1 star, is when it came to collapsing down for storage, it was rather hard to pull apart due to the snug fitting mentioned earlier, as this was one of the pluses when deciding to purchase i was a little let down, but i would hope with time and repeated assembly/disassembly this may become easier.

I bought this for my 2 year old grandaughter's birthday. She loves it but was nervous at first because there is nothing to hold on to as she gets to the top of the steps. It is just high enough for her age without mum having to be scared of her falling off. I think it is best suited for 2-3 years. Smaller than that they may have a problem with the lack of handrail, older than that it would be too tame. I gave 3 stars for educational value as anything under that appears to be negative but of course there is no real educational value, but is good as a comfidence builder. Good value as nice and solid and much cheaper than some alternatives. Folding up for storage is also an advantage

We bought this slide for our 14 month old, to distract her from climbing onto her brothers TP frame. She can operate it herself, and the slide is very stable. Although it doesn't always keep her away from the TP frame she does love the slide, already going headfirst. The height means that any fall on the grass is manageable. The slide doesn't fold like more expensive types, you simply have to dislodge the two main parts to store it efficiently. But it is easier to just keep it outside, it is very light so we just put it on the patio when not in use, to keep the grass growing. The light weight does mean that our 3 year old can move it too, for his own purposes.

The slide was awaiting stock when I ordered however it came sooner than expected. What a great purchase it was! I have a two year old boy and it is perfect for him! He has always been a little reluctant to go down slides at the park or soft play and this has actually improved his confidence! As the weather has been bad, we luckily have the space indoors to have it on the rug and he is constantly climbing and whizzing down it. It’s super lightweight (I can pick it up with one hand) yet sturdy and it was put together in minutes. He is now brave enough to tackle the big slides at soft play.

The slide came quickly, earlier than specified, and was all complete and in perfect condition. It's very easy to assemble too, only 4 pieces. I would recommend the slide as it's sturdy and good for little ones with big steps to climb up. I bought this for my 15 month old and 2 year old children. Although I do supervise and have to put my youngest on as she can't climb it yet. The slide isn't very long though and my son is tall for 2 so he's at the bottom quite quickly but this doesn't seem to bother him. They both love it and is a bargain for the price.

My wee girl who is not yet 2 and tiny seems to love this slide (which I suppose is what counts really) but I'm not that fussed myself. She can hardly 'slide' on it unless wearing tights or similar as she sticks... so she mainly likes to climb up the 'slide' or throw her toys down :-) It's small and although that's great for peace of mind if they fall off the top I can see her getting bored of it before she's 2.5. Not expensive though so even 6 months use is fine by me. I will be looking for a proper slidey slide for her next time :-)

The package was battered on arrival and just in it's own box, no extra packaging and torn open at the top. As it is a first birthday present for my granddaughter I was a bit disappointed that more care was not taken by the supplier to despatch with adequate care. However the item itself is perfect and will be a huge hit.As packaging will only be thrown away this isn't a huge gripe really! My other granddaughter the same age has one already and loves to climb up it - the wrong way but keeps her amused and her mum busy!!

I bought this for my daughters 1st birthday. Obviously she is too young to climb the ladder but she loves slides at the park so I felt it would be nice to have a small one in the garden that she could be lifted onto and slide down.It set up very quickly with a couple of clicks. The slide seems pretty sturdy and it nice and light, making it easy to move. However, it is not foldable making storage a nightmare! My daughter loves the slide though so i would recommend it as, after all, that is the reason I got it!

I originally only gave this one star because of problems with assembling the slide. But now I realise that I was trying to put the handles on the wrong way round. I think many purchasers have been doing the same thing and ending up with broken handles. If you try to put the handles on with the smooth/solid side to the outside, you will only succeed in snapping off part of the handle. If on the other hand you assemble with the 'cut-away' side to the outside, the handles will snap into place without any problem.

We bought this for our 18mth old for Christmas and she absolutely loves it. Forwards, backwards, up the slide and down the steps she's all over it!In terms of quality it's well made and sturdy doesn't take up masses of space - we use it indoors. Plus you can fold it away if you need to. I'd probably recommend that you put something under if you're using on hard floors as the carpet helps stop it from sliding.I think it's a fantastic first slide and great value for money. Best present we bought.

I ordered this item last week it said within 2 weeks for the delivery but it came in 3 days, They kept me upto date with the dispatch and delivery date and time slot which was excellent, the delivery came exactly on time and the delivery man was so friendly and polite, the slide its self is excellent my 2 year old loves it so does my 3 and 6 year old, at the moment its indoors and doesn't take up too much room as it folds down for easy storage, excellent product and excellent service, defo use again.

This slide was a cinch to put together. No tools were required, a few plastic parts that simply slot together. With that in mind it is still sturdy enough to not give me any worries about quality. It easily comes apart and fits together in a flatter form, handy for for Winter storage. My son loves it, I can't fault it either, this offers pretty good value for money. Its slightly bigger than similarly priced slides and therefore will last a bit longer before it is outgrown, but it isn't too big.

Its a good slide but not easily dismantled. I was expecting the steps to be on a hinge so you pressed and button to fold away yet you have to pull the stairs off and so far only my partner has been able to do it. So not as easy as I was expecting. I would have also thought the handles would be higher up to act as a saftey side toIf I had known it would be so hard to fold away to store not sure I would have brought as space is very limited but the actual slide is perfect size and good quality.

With an 19month old who has been walking since 10months and has a desperation to climb and jump off furniture this slide was the perfect solution!Exactly what I was after - a good simple design that is sturdy with easy steps for my little boy to climb, it's a good height but not too steep and the lip at the bottom means a good safe landing!I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to move and store in our living room as it is slim, non-bulky and lightweight. My little boy loves it!

This is by far the best slide, i looked at quite a few before deciding to pay more and get this one. It took 2 minutes to put up! The quality is very good, its sturdy strong and smooth - no rough edges like i see on other slides. My 1 year old loves it! He cant go up the stairs himself yet but ut doesnt stop him trying! He loves it, its just the right length its longer than others and its steeper so he does go down it with a bit of speed! If i could fit down it i would use it too! Haha!
