we bought this for our son's 3rd birthday and so far have not regretted it. he loves it. It's very sturdy and not that difficult to put together. It folds easily but not so easily that a wee one can do it. I love this slide, as does our son. He slides down along with toy cars, teddies etc even in the rain. I've found it very easy to move around the garden, for an adult, The wee fella has tried to knock it over on numerous occaisions and failed. It won't topple or tip no matter how hard it's shoved. The steps are perfectly placed for little legs and the hand rail is comfortable. It is a touch awkward to get out of the house however but that's a minor thing. The instructions are a bit mis leading. You really need to hammer the hinge bar in place BEFORE you attatch the base of the steps. It makes it much easier to get the no slip bits in place. I do have one niggle though. The drop at the end can be a bit sudden depending on clothes worn. My son is used to it now but it might startle a smaller child. So far I have found this to be a very safe and sturdy toy. It is well used and often abused but I have no issues. I would deffinately recommend this to anyone. The pure pleasure expressed on the wee fella's face when he tottles up and slings his teddy down head first make it worth it. I have a number of little tikes products and every one has been certainly worth the money. They make sturdy products. I do have to add I didn't buy this slide blind, I had already seen it being well used in a local Toddler play place. And if it can hold up to dozens of kids everyday, without fail one little boy is going to have many years of enjoyment from it.

Pros:My little boy is 2 years 9 months and I surprised him with this slide. Firstly he was so incredibly excited about it, it was priceless. The slide is a perfect addition to a playroom and can be used both indoor and outdoor, we bought an IKEA soft play mat addition which cost £30 (I think) to give him something to land on because he comes down the slide at quite a speed. My son is tall for his age, often people think he 3/4 years and I can foresee him getting years of fun out of this. The slide folds away easily and seems sturdy and safe, once set up.Cons:It is incredibly hard to set up, would not have been able to do it by myself and needed my husband's help who also struggled.I think an easier set up would make this a clear 5/5.Overall:I think it was an excellent purchase, my son also slides teddy and cars down the slide :) We live in a flat and make it work, folding it away when we are fed up and getting it back out again almost makes the toy new. Your child will use his imagination and get lots of fun out of this. I anticipate my newborn will soon join the fun. Great fun making the little ones smile!

The quality of the slide is good, however, it was a pain to put together. Actually the instructions are easy to follow and in theory this should be an easy task. The problem we had was when trying to attached the bar which goes through the top of the slide and the steps. The bar has to be banged into a small red (with metal grip inside) plastic cup shape part. The red part sits on a hard surface whilst you try to bang the bar into it; very very difficult to get the bar in straight whilst trying not to get it in too far otherwise it makes it too short to attach the other cup at the opposite end! Unfortunately, during our attempt to carry out this task, damage occured to the parts.Little Tikes were very understanding and replaced the parts without hesitation

Our 3 year old and 19 month old love this and both are easily able to climb it and slide down. It's hours of fun for them. They also like to put a blanket over the top and use it as a tent. We have it inside and find it folds easily and it's too heavy to move from it's storage place to set up. It comes down easily as well but best to push it together to remove the arm and push it apart if the arm is on the wrong side before folding. We got used to it easily enough. It will go in the garden next summer and which is probably where it will stay and be played with just as much. It's nice having it indoors though, as it can be played with in any weather. It's always exciting when it comes out and the kids start yelling 'SLIDE,SLIDE'!

We bought this slide as a birthday present for our two year old daughter. The only problem we found was trying to assemble, particularly the support rod that joined the slide and the steps together. We had to use a lump hammer to tap the support rod into the stoppers and found that they went on wonky instead of straight, pretty frustrating. It's fabuolous for the kids to play on though once up. Colourful, sturdy, strong and safe. Particularly love the fact that it folds up and is stored easily as space isn't something that we have an abundance of.You can always rely on Little Tikes for quality toys that really do last but please do something to make assembly easier!

Oh my goodness. What a fab present. Such good value I thought Amazon might have got hold of seconds but it is brilliant! Christmas was a hoot watching the toddlers, and the occasional thin adult, having a go. It is quite steep and fast so ideal if you have an adventurous young one. My granddaughter is 18 months and is a dare devil on public slides, so anything smaller would have been boring. There is quite a dip at the bottom which is fine because we put a cushion or two at the bottom. Adults may require further cushions! ( see pic) it folds in half if you can bear to put it away, but it is a great idea for wet days and can be used in the garden later on.

The seller dispatched this promptly after placing my order. The item arrived well packaged and all parts were fine. The design of construction of this slide wasn't great (i have read since other ppl experienced same problem)... there is a black plastic tube and 2 red caps that connect the steps to the slide which was a right pickle to do! its hard to explain but I contacted Little Tikes and they are sending me new parts (as they got broken during assembly). All in all a great slide (once you assemble it correctly) but that is only down to the design.Overall a good service from this seller

i love this slide , well as soon as i could put the two ends on the rod that go through to hold the two bits of the slide together (allot of words used while doing this ) but as soon as it was put together my 20 month old daughter loved it ... very sturdy and its going to have allot of years of use out of it :)i got this slide at a bargain price of £41.45 but i would of paid full price ! lovely bright colours and weather resistant, not like the metal ones i was previously was looking at, so glad i choose this one.. one happy mummy :)i would recommend to any little toddler

We bought this when our little girl was 2 years and she loved it. She's now 3.5 years and we have an 18-month old and they both play on it a lot. The youngest is now able to use it by herself and the oldest does all manner of tricks on it. It's heavy enough to be stable but light enough to be easily manouevrable and it's still going very strong. It's fairly chunky so takes up a fair amount of room when folded but we tend to have it outside most of the time anyway. Good quality and lots of fun.

My 3 year old daughter loves it, she spends hours on it. My youngest daughter will have few years on it when she is able to walk. The positive is that its sturdy and can be used indoors when the weather is not great and the folding and unfolding is easy and quick. The negative is that its not big as a thought so she will outgrow it before she is 5, and it would have been better i think if there was larger hand support when using the steps and at the top before sliding.

Post one year review :This came on time. well packaged. Was reasonalbly o.k. to put together. Although I feel myself to be expert in building things. there were some fiddly bits.It stayed in the backgarden for over a year now and discoloured. It also accumulated water inside it. and there are few black spots inside which looks like mould.though it is still functioning, it doesn't look very clean. (even if cleaned from outside)

Love this slide. My son is 2 and just lives it and we have family over with 6 and 8 year old and it's ok for them too. Bit small for them obviously but they had so much fun still! Putting together is easy until puttin the slide and steps together and then it's difficult to connect the red pieces to the rod that holds it together. Me and my husband had a fight with it but got there in the end with force!

Very good quality slide and is very sturdy. I bought this for our 16-month old with the view that she would grow into it. She needs some help getting up the stairs but our friend's little boy who is a similar age can so it all himself. Not sure the easy-store is as big a selling point as you might imagine, but it does fold up to be smaller and can be leaned against a wall etc.

Great slide my son got this for his 2nd birthday and he plays on it almost daily :) was easy to assemble but bar underneath was difficult, I don't fold it to put away as I just don't have the strength but it is a very stable slide and I'm positive will be very much a loved toy for my son in the garden :)

Great slide my daughter loves it. I assembled it by myself but had problems like most others with hammering the metal ends onto a pkastic rod! This actually snapped the one end off but luckily just long enough to hammer on still. Needs re-designing in my opinion! Otherwise I would recommend.
