The sing itself is excellent vallue for the price, easy to put together. However, you should emphasise more that the recommended fitting is to place the leg stays in concrete. With many modern gardens this is not possible, particularly in rented accomodation. As the swing I bought is to be used by a very young person I have compromised by driving good guality galvanised stakes into the garden and bolting the swing legs to them usinh squares of decking board under thr legs for stability..If the swing is going to get rough useage then concreting the support stakes is a must.

The product was easy to assemble and is adequate as a first swing. Its economical price reflects in its simplicity. It has a wide frame which takes up a lot of ground space. Our daughter found the plastic seat to be quite slippy and we'd agree that a foam covered seat would be more comfortable. We also think the inclusion of appropriately sized tent pegs would be useful for fixing and may be an alternative to having to dig holes and cement the swing into place. Overall, it's certainly good value for money and is very popular with our little one.

this swing is a great buy, i got it for my three year old as a second swing for her grandparents house, its larger than most swingsso it'll last for longer , the swing seat has a slight grip to it, so she doesn't slide off it like she does on some swing seats! its very easy to put together and has good pinning to it so it doesn't lift up when swinging high( my 12 year old goes very high and as its not lifted up once unlike the one i have at my house ) a big thumbs up from my house hold !!!!!! buy it you won't be disappointed !!

Bought this as a garden toy for my 6 yr old and 8yr old. Excellent value for money and know this will be passed around family when they outgrow it. Simpiclity itself to build which was godsend as I am a disabled single dad. Solid and safe when in use but so easy to move around garden to mow lawn etc. Feature I rate is that by removing top four bolts (5minute job) the swing folds flat for easy storage in winter although may not need to as weatherproof tubular construction means have left out in all weather to date.

Bought this to alleviate some of the lockdown blues for my 5 year old. Worked a treat! Easy to assemble, pretty sturdy (once the anchors are in the ground), and for the price, we’re well happy. The seat/rope/height adjustment is a bit rough and is probably where a failure will occur. I’m thinking the top bracket that connects the rope to the frame and acts as the height adjuster will give way at some point, but to be fair we’ll just pick up some chain and some carabiners and it’ll be great.

This is a very cheap to buy swing and it shows. I feel this could be suitable for young children under 7 as a first swing. Was concreted in to make it stable. Colour (pink) was lovely. Seat was good. Rope let it down. First thought 'flimsy'. Disappointment. However, for the price I should not have expected a more robust item. It is certainly OK for my grandchild at the moment. A good practice swing for her to gain confidence. Go for more robust if you have a confident child. OK for a wee one.

I grew up without much garden play equipment. We had an old version of this swing, but it was so flimsy that it warped and broke within a few weeks.I was reticent to buy this as I thought it would be the same as before - fun for a short while but ultimately would fall apart like the hopes and dreams I had in my early 20s.I was surprised when this was anything but - it's well built and sturdy. If this can be so much better than my childhood version, perhaps I too can dare to dream again.

I bought this for my 5 year old and I was able to put it together myself, my Mother helped me a little bit at one point but it’s pretty easy. Only thing I would say is I wish the pegs that go into the grass were sharper so wasn’t so hard to bang them into the soil. Even though I had a folded clothes covering the top of the pegs whilst hammering them in, the black bits cane off. I may have to pull a couple of the legs out again and redo them but apart from that, my child is very happy with it.

Excellent bargain for a swing. Attached baby seat to it for time being as bigger frame than previous swing. Small package, light, so easy sat on back seat of car along with car seat. Simple to put up by self, took about half hour. Only negative is it is quite light so needs anchored and not easy if artificial lawn plus it's a bit odd with the extra supports on bottom of legs that are supposed to go into ground so suggest bog standard tent pegs to go in the holes and into ground for stability.

There were two of us to put it together so was relatively easy. I ordered the wrong colour, so my son has now has a pink swing :/ Its well enough made, we post mix filled the corner pegs in,the pegs that were build on were pretty much useless and pulled straight out when littlin swung too high. Its swing seat seems an ok width, wouldnt say it was particularly easy to swap seats regularly ie replace with baby seat unless you undid all the bolts and then bought clips for each seat but hey ho

Brought a wooden plum one from Argos last year and from the moment it went up I hated not sturdy wooden parts didn’t slot together well and if tighten the bolts to tight wood just split just dangerous. My boy asked for a swing see this in the sale and so much better more sturdy (even before the floor pegs were put in) unlike other reviews our seat has been fine and not slippery at all so definitely happy I purchased this one would of been happy paying the full price as well can’t go wrong

This is a great value children's swing, my little one uses it every day possible. Easy to assemble. You must make sure the leg are on level ground or it tips up at little. To make it more secure we have added tent pegs over the legs just for our added piece of mind. My little one also likes to use the side bars to do rolly pollies over. Lots of fun days out in the garden with this item. Very happy with the purchase and getting alot of use with this lovely weather we are currently having.

First purchase top bar was missing and had to return so check before you put it in the car. Assembles easily but you will need ti buy tent pegs for safe use. Girls swing isnt (thankfully) totally pink as shown in some argos pics. Just seat top bar and side rails. Using it with a different toddler seat. Height of top bar is liwer than i expected. Would think up to 8 years and youd want a bigger one but fabulous for younger kids and the lower height makes it easy ti check top bolts

I was able to put this together in an hour with my 7 year old daughter doing a lot of the work, it's really easy and the directions are simple. It's on even ground and anchored as suggested but the frame creeks and moves a little as she swings, not to a point where I am worried at all, I am just accepting this as part of buying a lower budget item. It functions just fine and looks like it'll last long enough for her. Overall I'm happy and for the price would happily buy another.

An inexpensive outdoor toy that has already seen a lot of use and enjoyment. We opted to buy a different seat to attach to the frame as our son isn't old enough to safely use the provided seat, however, we've kept it for in a couple of years when he is. It was easy to put together, instructions were pretty clear, nuts/bolts/etc came in smart packaging which kept them safe. Only thing I'd say is that it wasn't entirely obvious which bolts to use but it wasn't rocket science.
