Well, our 3 year old daughter loves, LOVES cars. She watches Tayo as much as she can get away with, and one of the characters on that is called Carrie, a transporter and two crazy sports cars, Shine (yellow) and Speedy (red). She had been gifted a Barbie car that was really flimsy plastic and didn't stand up to rough 3 year old play and she was devastated when it broke (we weren't!) She was delighted when my husband found this on Amazon. It's exactly what she loves. First, it's HUGE! And since one of the things she loves doing is sitting on it pushing it along with her feet, this is a good thing. I have no idea if it's been designed to be used like that, but it's standing up to quite a lot of abuse without any damage.

A superb toy for boys (and girls)! Exceedingly robust and sturdy. Excellent size. It is a large toy but that is part of the overall fascination for my son who is almost 2.5 years. No fancy or fiddly buttons or silly sounds and lights. It's superbly designed and simple.Even though it only has two additional cars to put on and drive off - it still provides hours of quiet fun! My son quietly pushes it around trying to manoeuvre the long wheel base successfully. Great, great toy. My kids are full of life and generally noisy so this is a dramatic shift to have a toy that produces interest to the extent that they become absorbed in it. Highly recommend for age 2 plus.

My boys both love this toy and though it's been around for decades it's safety proven and a hit with every kid who has been to visit.In fact my boys both like it so much that we had to buy a second set for my younger one to stop the daily fighting. (It's worked!) most things they're happy to share but this they each wanted to have the big cars to load onto the transporter....This is played with every day that it's out in our house.Only flaw is that you can't buy any other styles (like a truck or taxi or emergency cars etc). :)If your child likes cars... Don't hesitate, buy this. (Can usually buy here and elsewhere formaldehyde price at £24.99)

This is a wonderfully chunky car transporter that is just perfect for boys of 18 months and over. Complete with two equally robust and colourful sports cars, it has a tailgate that opens to form a ramp, and a cab that turns sufficiently to enable plenty of living-room driving. Somewhat on the pricey side and indulgently packaged by the seller, it is nonetheless a superb toy that should last a lifetime at least.

I bought this for my 2 year old son for Christmas. While it says for 3 and over, I think this is his most favourite present. The cars are a great size, chunky, durable and superb for little hands, while the Car Carrier itself is extremely sturdy - so much so, my son likes to use it as a ride on and drive himself around the house on it!I can't recommend this enough to anyone with a little boy who loves cars.

Bought this for my son's first birthday. He is always on the move since he crawls and climbs on everything so very rarely will stop to play with toys. However since we bought him the car transporter he will now sit and play with the cars and loading them in and out. We bough this along with the Little Tikes Pirate ride along and they are both getting lots of play. Our nearly 4 year old girl loves it too

I first saw this popular product being used at a pre-school drop in. My grandchildren (2 years and 9 months) loved it so much I decided to purchase one for them to play with when they visit me. I have purchased Little Tikes products before and, because they are so well made, I have been able to pass them down to the next generation.

I purchased this toy for my son (2.6) for Christmas.It has been played with every day, inside outside and has proven to be very durable.Out of the various bits and pieces he received for Christmas this has by far been the most successful and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone else with a young boisterous son!

This item is almost indestructible, I purchased it for my 2 year old daughter who loves cars and has ridden on the back of the truck and was sat on the cars even though they are a little small for that purpose with no damage whatsoever. A fantastic toy built robustly. I cannot recommend this product enough.

This made a great Christmas present for our two year old. Big, chunky and robust - for indoor and outdoor play. Cars are a good size for little hands and some small flexible dolls can just about squeeze in to drive them! Won't exactly store away easily but it has been played with everyday since he got it.

Wow, bought this for a small boy for Christmas, it's really well made, looks like it's pretty tough, and a lot bigger than I expected. He's going to have so much fun with this, big enough for him to be able to sit astride it and scoot around on it. Very pleased with it. Buy one, you won't be disappointed

My little boy got this for his 2nd birthday and he loves it. He has lots of cars and lorries and this car carrier always gets a look-in. It would be appropriate from the age of 1 onwards as there are no sharp edges and nothing to potentially break off. It is quite big and takes up alot of floor space.

Great present for our 2 year old grandson. He loves the bright colours and has great fun taking the cars in & out. He gets lots of fun with it and of all the presents he had he wanted to play with this the most. From the safety point, it is well made with rounded edges, so no sharp bits.

Such a great toy, it's a sturdy plastic and both my girls love to play with the cars which are a good size. They often use the transporter as a sit on and it seems fine with that (they don't weigh much at 1 and 3). Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of buying.

It doesn't do much, its just a big carrier with two cars that are quite solid - doors don't open or anything however....my son enjoys playing with it. Its great for taking outside in the garden as its made of sturdy stuff so not easily scuffed or broken like some toys.
