After reading many reviews I decided to go ahead and buy this slide. As many other people mentioned it was quite a challenge to put together. Specially adding the caps to the metal bar that connects the stairs and the slide which need to be hammered in. It was very very tough. However after half an hr of hammering the caps I managed to get them in. You need a lot of patience to assemble this slide as it can get very frustrating. After about an hr my husband an I finally got the slide ready and my 18 months old daughter absolutely loves it. The only thing about the design of the slide that bothers me is the massive step at the end which makes it a very bumpy landing. However,

I bought this slide because it folds and stores away in a small space, we have a small garden and we can take this out and put it away again. It is very sturdy and strong. It is however for 3ish years and up or very enthusiastic toddlers as the steps are quite chunky and difficult to climb. The grips along the side going up the steps are quite thick for little ones to hold on to and when they get to the top of the steps theres not a lot to hold on to either. As the child reaches the bottom of the slide they have to be able to land on their feet as the drop at the end is a few inches deep and quite a drop for the very small ones. Our little ones have got used to it but we've had to show them how to hold on 'safely'

I bought this slide as a birthday present for my daughter. She is 4. She absolutely loves it. It's the perfect height for her at home, and gets used for sliding, and also throwing all manners of other toys down.I only gave it a rating of 4 as it was quite difficult to attach the red pole covers at each side. By difficult, i mean difficult for two able men hammering at it for about 20 minutes, and it still wasn't going in. They said it was something to do with the thing that was supplied for doing the task, not being fit for purpose. They ended up using a plank of wood, and it still isn't secured on properly.Also, the part that goes at the bottom of the steps managed to come loose whilst my daughter was playing on it,

This was purchased as a present for my 3 year old, he outgrew his first little tikes slide. This is really robust and sturdier than the smaller one and he enjoys the slight wave in the slide. The steps are very big so no falling off and the hand rails at the top help him to steady himself and sit down.The instructions are really annoying!! The rod you have to slide between the ladders and the slide is quite difficult to do, the red covers for this rod too are REALLY difficult. Ours kept popping off and going on at angles. It didn't take too long to make, just the fiddly bits slowed us down.My boy really loves this slide though and it's not a bad price for what it is.

Great product! Got this just in time for my 2y.o. son's Birthday and he and the other kids at the party had a great time with it! Assembly took about half an hour, very straightforward. The slide is sturdy and very safe, four toddlers were practically lining up for couple of hours going up and down the slide: one sliding down, the other one already waiting on the top and another one climbing up. The construction is amazingly solid! In the same time the slide is surprisingly light and compact, and we had no problem having it in our living room with all the guests, kept the little ones busy for hours!

Great slide, well made, sturdy and as I bought when half price, great value. My 2 yr old loves it and uses it almost every day. The only complaint would be the bar which slides through the steps and yellow slide part is a bit of a nightmare to knock into the red cup caps and as its quite short, its also difficult to get through to the other end. I had to hold it down on a step so that I could hammer the other end cap on as it kept popping back through. Think if my husband had built it, he'd have thrown it across the garden (lol!).Other than that, its a great slide and I would recommend it.

This slide is a nightmare to put together! The bits you have to hammer together are so hard to do. You have to hammer the bar which holds the slide to the top of the stairs into the caps and its so hard it was actually breakimg bits off my hammer lol. Had to leave it till the next day or i was going to hammer the slide! They should send the slide made up already. Apart from that my son loves the slide although he does get quite a bump off it when he comes off. Need a mat at the bottom. Great height for my tall 2 year old and the stairs are easy to get up

I bought this slide for my 2 year old daughter who loves it. Once you've assembled it, it's great - a bit taller than the tiny toddler slides so I feel it will last her for longer, seems very well built and sturdy but easy to lift and can fold to sit in the shed during winter. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it was quite a bit harder to put together than the instructions imply. There's a pole that has to be hammered in to two caps and it's not particularly well-made so took a difficult combination of force and cunning get it sorted!

I would have given this a full five star rating but for one thing that really miffed me. I payed for express delivery, ordered it on Friday, got it on Tuesday late in the evening because they only packed it on Monday to be delivered. And then early in the morning the next day I got the item I ordered at the same time with a super saver delivery (from a different company) . Make of it what you like but I would not bother buying anything urgently from them unless you are prepared to wait, otherwise it is a lovely product at a reasonable price.

Bought this slide for my daughter which she loves! It's a lovely solid slide and looks like will last forever!The only negative I have is building the slide was a nightmare! Getting the metal pole through the holes was hard and then getting the caps on the end of the poles took over an hour. Both me and my husband kept trying but they would only go half on and then when you try to get the other half on they would ping off. Eventually we managed to do it but the tool that came with it was pretty battered by the hammer at the end of it

Once complete, the slide is great - sturdy and solid, really being enjoyed by my 1,3 and 5 year olds. I think it's good value for money. However, as other reviewers said, it was very frustrating to assemble. It could have been done in 10 minutes if it weren't for one element where you have to hammer a plastic pole into a metal and plastic fixing which was ridiculously difficult. I'm sure another way of putting this section together could be easily arranged by Little Tikes. Otherwise it would have got 5 stars from me.

I got this to upgrade from the Little Tikes "my first slide" and was hoping for a similarly easy product.Everything is really simple other that the caps which need to be happened onto a pole. This proved a nightmare and I should hope that Little Tikes find an alternative method. Screw on perhaps?Evwntily I hammered harder from sheer frustration! It worked. I received a tip from a friend to rub washing up liquid on the ends - hope this works for some.My little girl loves it and that's the main thing.

I bought this slide as a birthday present for my three year old. He absolutely loves it, its a great size for small kids. The only drawback is that it comes in pieces and you have to put it together(I am not a lover of construction). Most of putting the slide together was relatively simple with an easy to use instruction guide. However, putting the tube through at the top of the slide took a while to get aligned and was not easy. Overall, a sturdy slide that folds away. A happy mum and child.

Bought this for my little fella’s first birthday. Even though he is still a bit too small to use this on his own the reason we went for this one is because the other ones were so flimsy and didn’t look like they would last the test of time out the back garden.This is very sturdy and I have known people who have this exact slide for years without damage. Also, got this on sale with 40% off, BARGAIN!! Would definitely have paid the full price for this if it wasn’t on sale.

This is a wonderful toy and my grandchildren love it. Age 3.5 and a tall 2, this is big enough for them and probably will be for the next 18 months, I hope. Both children can climb up by themselves and the steps aren't too steep. Robust but light enough to move if you need to, it fits the bill and I'm really happy with it. Don't forget to soften the area where the slide stands, they can come off at any stage, not just the base of the slide.
