Bought this as a last minute present for my two and a half year old grandson and he LOVED it. It was his favourite present once he had mastered what to do with the ball. The first couple of times he threw the ball in the air and it hit his dad on the head but when we showed him what he should be doing he quickly became engrossed and loved knocking over the pirates. An excellent buy.

Great product. My son loves this. We bought it last Christmas and it is still going strong. There are a few chips to the paintwork now but that just reflects how much he's played with them! They are great on their own too and go on all sorts of adventures around our house. Nice and compact, easily portable so came on holiday with us too! Unreservedly recommended!

Purchased as a toy for children that are minded. The delivery was prompt and hassle free. Children 'fight' over playing with it. Maybe one slight drawback is the wooden ball, which the younger children have found makes a great noise on wooden floorboards! Maybe the inclusion of a cheap rubber ball, as well as the wooden one could help here?

Looked good and well made. I wasn't expecting " 2+ "writ large and felt foolish giving it to the 3+ child(after reviews that accompanied this gift) I gave it to; .............especially as her 2+ sister had a present with" 3+" writ large on it!Nevertheless, I felt the gifts were appropriate for the age ranges I chose.

Bought this as a present for my little boy from the new baby so haven't give it to him yet, but they look lovely. Smaller than I expected, but they will be perfect for his little hands, he is almost three. Great seller, received my items early which was great and also the item was well packaged. Very pleased.

My boy Dan loved these from the start. The bright colours and well made little pirates made playing with them fun. He now throws the ball at everything in an attempt to knock that down too. Wonderfull toy, a classic that has kept my 1 year old entertained for hours. Truth be told I quite like them too.

These are a really lovely set. I bought it for my son's 2nd birthday and it's the perfect size and weight for him, not too big or small. The skittles have lovely, colourful designs. The speed of delivery was so fast and it was well packaged. I will definitely be buying these for friends' children.

Just an ideal present for my little niece, at age 18 months. Fun for her Mum and Dad too. The theme was great as she happens to live by the sea. The package arrived promptly with the correct contents, so it didn't disappoint after a delayed Christmas present via another seller which didn't arrive.

Ordered this for my nephew who is 2 years old. Lovely little item, smaller than expected but I didn't read the description properly. Only negative is the packaging, came in a huge box full of brown paper, you could have fitted 8 of the same item in the box.Fast delivery, very happy

These solid little pirates were bought as a gift for my autistic nephew for his 5th birthday. He is into pirates. He enjoyed playing skittles and also used the characters to play with other items he had been bought. They were a good size and bright coloured

These skittles are a lovely stocking filler for my toddler. They are beautifully painted and colourful and have a traditional feel about them. Im sure my little boy will have lots of fun playing with them. They arrived well packed and in good time.

Love the look of the skittles which are brightly coloured and Im sure will appeal to my great nephew this Christmas - my only comment is being "old school" and still working in imperial measurements the height was slightly less than expected!

Bought for four year old, who loves this item and kept him thoroughly entertained on Christmas Day. Really well made and tough enough to withstand a four year old 'lobbing' the wooden ball at the beautifully colourful character skittles.

So disappointed with the size, my grandson uses the skittles as figures for his pirate boat. If they had been 3 or 4 inches bigger it would have made an ideal skittle set. Although I will say they are well made and well finisheda.

Brought as a birthday present for a 2year old but the birthday isn't for a couple of weeks. My grandson (who is nearly 4) said his cousin will love it.It arrived before the estimated date of delivery, well packed and well priced.
