A super product.Good weight Stainless steel pan, very easy to clean. Large enough to fry chips for a family of four.The inner basket is not as sturdy but works fine during use. The handles are designed to fit on the side of pan to allow chips to drain and works well.The pyrex lid is not supposed to be used when frying chips because it's dangerous to cover oil, however its very useful for making a large apple pie or similar.A previous review said the design was poor as the folded handles fall into the oil during storage. The solution is empty the pan of oil and problem solved.I found it''s better to store the chip pan sitting on the glass lid as its not a tight fit on top of the pan.Overall,

Apart from the lid being a bit of a "spare part", the actual fryer is excellent. As long as the fat is nice and hot, the food cooks quickly and evenly without having to "shake it up". Easy to clean, and fries loads of chips, easily enough for a family of four.

Plenty of chips for a family of 4 adults.. Stainless steel is so easy to clean. My 4 children are full grown ans left home, if only this was around 40 years ago I would have 2.
