I was so happy to see this gift on Amazon while searching for gifts for my wife. When she opened it on Christmas day, she was so surprised.The condition of the box is not like new. It has been in storage since this was released in 1996 as a 30-year anniversary set. But Barbie and Ken, the clothing, and the accessories are still in perfect condition. The fabric and style of the clothing is especially impressive. The phaser and communicator had fallen to the bottom of the box. The little silicon bands that held them in place had broken long a ago. I carefully slid the entire 'set' out of the bottom and used a touch of hot glue to secure them in place. Now, Ken once again has his phaser,

Dolls are dressed in the uniforms of the original series. Ken is of the bent arm body mould. Face is attractive,smiling,and hair is moulded,painted on type. Barbie sports long blonde elaborate pony tail hair do inspired by Yeoman Rand from original series. Her arms do not bend at elbow but both dolls legs bend at knee joint. In the box is a back drop of Kirk and Spock on Enterprise bridge. Barbie or "Yeoman Rand" comes with tricorder. Ken comes with communicator.Both uniforms have the star fleet badge and well made.

My hubby & I are both big Star Trek Fans. So, although I'm the Barbie collector, this was really for both of us and it stays displayed on our shelves of shared collectibles. This really captures the essence of Star Trek, and I love the Kirk & Spock cut outs in the bridge! Unfortunately, my Ken was missing his phaser, but I loved all the other features. Whether you collect Barbie, Star Trek memorabilia, or both, I would recommend this set!

These are just the most awesome barbies, ever! The Ken doll isn't a pansy man like the current men dolls; which is actually what I was looking for. They also come with some neat accessories: the tricorder, a phaser and a communicator; just too cool! Of course, I'm a Trekkie, so I can't help but love them. My daughter tore into the package before I got a good look at it, but seems like it was in good condition.

I found this gift set item with a crunched box and paid much less for it then I ever would have thought I could. I love these dolls, what can I say. I purchased them for my toddler daughter. She gets a Barbie & Ken, I get to influence her in a nerdy way. We did put up all of the tiny accessories for later years. I still brag about my Barbie Star Trek find.

I am a big fan of Barbie dolls and I can say that this item was satisfactory.The item was delivered a little late but the seller later called me and apologised for the delay and they made it up.So the overall experience wasn't bad.I am happy with the product and I recommend this set to all the Barbie collectors.

I give this item four stars only because it was missing some of the pieces: the phaser and one of the communicators. Besides that, both dolls were beautiful, in good condition, and had good quality clothing and accessories. I was so glad to add these two to my doll and Star Trek collections!

The set I received was great , it's was old, I received it when I was supposed to, good price. I like it. I am a star trek collector. And ken and Barbie is a great addition.

Great set! It makes playing Barbies with my granddaughters even more fun! (You can buy Spock independently, too.)

I would have given 5 stars but box top is missing. But the price is great so i can overlook this.

Box was beat up pretty bad but they are for my personal Star Trek collection so I don't mind.
