She is gorgeous. You can tell that this doll is meant to represent a girl with albinoisim. She has african features, a wide nose, fuller lips and very pale skin. I think they should have given her the pink eyes and actually said what they were doing. Instead I think they were wary, a little too scared to go the full route with this gorgeous doll. Come on Mattel. You are almost there. Do not let another company do what you are afraid to do. REPRESENT! vitilligo doll next please. Oh and the clothes... LBGQT rainbow tops? Also, dont put Barboe in a wheelchair. You have a charactor already . Beth?Back to this doll. I personally didnt think the skirt fit the rest of the outfit so i rolled it up to be mini and to show the top as fully cropped.

This is an absolutely gorgeous Petite Barbie doll. Representing an underrepresented and sadly often maligned minority, people with albinism, as beautiful is way overdo! Kudos, Mattel, because young albino girls should also grow up feeling beautiful.I do wish the sizes of these dolls were more prominently featured in these Amazon listings. Showing such information only on the back of some of the boxes is not good enough. If I'd known this one was petite (thanks to a fellow reviewer)--for which I was looking--I would have bought her months ago.

The title says it all. This doll is simply gorgeous. She represents an African-American girl with albinism and has a distinct 1970s look with her fabulous blonde afro and chunky high heels. For clarification, she definitely has the Petite body type. Her hair and heels give the illusion of height, making her easily confusable with an Original Fashionista (here she is with Malibu Camo).You can just tell that one day, collectors will go to the ends of the earth to find this doll.

I Love her. Is one of my favourites fashionistas. Tks for diversity Mattel! The world is changing and Barbie now is a real representation of all girls. I’m very proud of that fashionista line.Plus: I loved her clothes and shoes and I think her hair is so soft and beautiful.

This doll had really nice hair. That's really the best I can say. It was less articulated even than my old Barbies, the clothes were very ordinary. My little girl plays with it because of the curls, that's the one saving grace.
