This is a nice, basic set consisting of a single play doll from the Barbie Fashionistas range. This is an entry level doll and so has fairly simple clothes and accessories - a basic, rock chick style T-shirt dress, pair of silver sunglasses, and a pair of black boots. At the time of writing, the description suggests the boots might be glittery. They're not: they're a shiny plain black. The doll has a light brown skin tone, hazel eyes and long, straight, brown hair (with what's described as ombre shading to it). The hair colouring looks more like highlights gone wrong, there are differing colours to the dye job, but some streaks are the colour of yellow highlighter pens. I really like the concept of the Fashionistas range, especially the option of different bodies. This is a regular shaped and height Barbie but she has a more fashion led look with stylised coloured hair in tinted yellow and black ombré and more Instagram face than her usually perky blonde Barbie counterparts.She is dressed in a grunge-chic kind of outfit, she's just missing a plaid shirt tied about the waist to be honest. She's wearing an oversized band tour tshirt (very Guns and Roses inspired) that acts as a tunic and chunky black lace up boots which I could do a little cheer for as it's nice to see a Barbie whose not in ballet pumps or high heels.However,

This Barbie is pretty much as you'd expect. A well made doll with a bit of a modern edge with more trendy shoes and hair.I wouldn't really call her hair ombre, it doesn't shift from one colour to another it has a yellow layer underneath a a darker layer on top so that you can see both colours but that's not what I was expecting with it described as ombre. That said it's a more modern look for her hair and she looks great.Her t-shirt dress was what lost a star for me, it was visibly less well made/lower quality than the rest of the doll. It had a nice printed design on it but was very thin and where it had a shape cut out it wasn't hemmed/edged so the edges will fray easily given time.Did the kids care about any of those things?

I personally love the style of the Barbie which really makes it stand out, what makes this doll special is the doll's hairstyle. We have been collecting the fashionistas for a little while, and have tried to stay away from the archetypal Blonde, blue eyed Barbie, preferring the more diverse and more realistic dolls. This, from the picture looked similar to what we were avoiding, then the grandaughter choose this because "shes wearing a band shirt like Gram does". What a pleasant surprise when she arrived. She has the most beautiful face with lovely almond eyes and cute smile. Her hair is a very natural light brown with trendy blonde ombre. The dress totally rocks with bitchin cut outs and very chunky boots- considering we almost over looked her- we are very pleased we did not miss out on this little gem- the grandaughter

I only bought this doll for the unusual hair colour, but so glad I did as she is so much prettier in reality than she appears in the picture on Amazon. I don't like her outfit that much but that is not a problem, she can always be redressed, but I love her hair, so unusual and it's nice to see Mattel doing something different with the Barbie dolls. This one's face though, it is odd how she really does look so much prettier and quite different to how she looks in the picture of her that Mattel has put out, which makes her face look rather bland and uninteresting; in person her face is really beautiful, and not like any other Barbie doll I've seen. I'm so glad I got her.

Barbie fashion doll, part of the Fashionistas series, suitable for children 3+ years. A simple Barbie doll in a thin, nylon dress, high heeled plastic shoes and sun glasses. Neither the doll or her clothes are particularly good quality but; the range of other dolls in this series is huge and the idea is to collect them and swap their outfits and accessories around which my granddaughter loves. What this doll does have is long, thick hair that's 'ombre' coloured or dark to blonde and it's a lot of fun to style so long as you're gentle and don't pull it out. Well packaged, attractive and such a small size it's quick to create extra outfits for her if you have the time.

Love this. The facial features on this Barbie type doll are far more realistic then on the standard Barbie. She actually looks like somebody you might meet, a very glamorous somebody, but realistic none the same.The ombre hair makes a nice change from Barbie’s platinum blonde locks, and I liked the little details of the sunglasses and boots.There is some lovely detailing on the dress, which really looks like something that you would see somebody waving at a rock concert or on an evening out.The doll has the usual poseable Barbie limbs,and it is the same size as Barbie , so Barbie outfits will fit nicely.No fancy tricks, just a very attractive doll.

This is a simple, but stylish Barbie - with interestingly streaked hair - mid-brown (with a hint of lilac) and yellow (not blonde, but yellow) streaks. She is sunkissed with a pearly white smile and is dressed in a simple t-shirt dress with a funky Los Angeles 1959 World Tour motif with rose on the front, a pair of chunky black boots and a pair of solid silver shades. Her face is slightly different from the ones in the stock photos - but she is pretty and has slightly smaller eyes and a more interesting look in my opinion. It's basic, but an unusual addition to anyone's doll collection.

As a little girl playing with my dolls was a pleasant past time of mine. My five year old god daughter also delights in playing with dolls in general , and Barbie dolls in particular. This is Barbie fashionista doll number 87. She is chic, dressed in 1959 world tour dress with cool ankle boots. She has highlights and streaks in her blond hair. We have spent time dressing her up and spicing up her looks and dancing to the music “am a barbie girl ....” It was a fun way to spend time with my little girl. We look forward to collecting more in the series.

This is a very sun kissed looking doll, very pretty with a sort of Megan Markle look. She has bright yellow hair that is toned down with a light brunette. The one that I have has very frizzy and uneven ends that had to be trimmed . She is wearing a very short dress with a reference to 1959 , the year Barbie was born. It says she has glitter boots ; she doesn't they are plain black. She has a pair of sun glasses but no knickers. A pretty doll from the fashionistas range.

This is one of the range of Barbie Fashionistas Dolls, which all come with trendy outfits and look slightly different from the average Barbie. This one has very unusual hair, a rock concert, t-shirt dress, sunglasses and ankle boots. Her face looks a little more rounded than the usual Barbie doll, she has pretty, tinted hair and slightly tanned skin.In size, she is the same as other Barbies, so outfits are interchangeable. This is modern, pretty and nicely presented.

This Barbie Fashionistas FJF47 doll is one of a range of Barbie dolls that are all dressed in different clothes and styles with trendy and fashionable outfits and accessories. This specific one has Barbie dressed in a rock style t-shirt dress with black boots and sunglasses. All of the dolls in the range are very reasonably price and are a great addition to anyone's collection or as a play toy for young children.

This is a lovely doll in the Fashionista range which is a real assortment if male/female dolls of all sizes wearing various trendy outfits. She's a normal sized Barbie doll and is wearing a dark blue mini dress and black ankle boots. She has long yellow/brown hair. She's holding some silver shades in her hand. She's well packaged in a clear fronted moulded display box. Well made and painted facial features.

My two nieces aged 7 and 9 love Barbie and keep their collection in a special shed in the garden. The Fasionista range is brilliant as they have a wide range of Barbies to choose from with different hair, skin tones and outfits. This particular doll is really trendy with highlighted locks and sunglasses. The young version of me would have adored this item. Keenly priced too.
