Pre ordered this game and got it today through the post! So far after playing for an hour or so its exactly like Guitar Hero 5 within the layout of the game, the graphics all except the play list.I have to say I'm really enjoying the game and only tried out the Bass and Guitar parts yet and I love the songs that are in the game, I find myself actually singing a long to them while playing the guitar which must be good! Really glad they made a more pop version of Guitar Hero for people who are more interested in that side of the music.The only downside I find to this game is the fact that you still have pretty much the same outfits and hairstyles to create a rockstar.

First of let me just say purchasing this game for under £3 is an absolute steal and an amazing bargain.I own guitar hero 5 and guitar hero warriors of rock and I got bored of the songlists and decided to opt for band hero, the songs are much more diverse and people who enjoy all different kind of genres of music will find it easily enjoyable and of course there are cultural classics such as Kung Fu Fighting and Rio by Duran Duran.The game itself has the same 'design' as guitar hero five which suits me fine but it's quite a cheap corner to take for the makers of the game, if you purchase a game it must be somewhat original and not a carbon copy of another, this is the only flaw within the game.The graphics are pretty good,

I'm a massive guitar hero fan. That said I'm not a particular fan of metal or hard rock. This game, like most Guitar Hero additions adds a wealth of new songs, however this collection has a wider inclusion of "Pop" hits which suits my friends and I much better than Guitar Hero: Metallica. As for the game itself, it is based on the Guitar Hero 5 software model so you can play from the start with drop in / drop out gameplay unlike other recent offerings (Guitar Hero: Van Halen) this makes it ideal for social occassions.

Good addition to the guitar hero series, for an advanced player there are really only one or two songs that pose any challenge at all which is a bit of a shame but as a student when all the boys come round before a night out the songs suit us and are a good way to start off a good night.would recommend for families or for students but if you are after a challenge and can expert a few songs on the other games in the series you will get bored quickly

I already own Guitar Hero World Tour so I bought this knowing what to expect. The game has more popular songs on (rather than rock) which is great when my family comes over as they are more excited about playing it. Another advantage of this game is that you do not have to complete lots of levels just to unlock decent songs like in Guitar Hero. Overall I really enjoyed the game and would recommend to anyone, especially with families!

After playing and completing guitar hero 5 and being very disappointed with it, I decided to buy band hero and give it a shot even though im not a very big fan of pop music. I was very surprised to find that the game was more fun and had some songs on there that should of been on guitar hero 5!! If your into pop music and liked any previous guitar hero games then it's worth the buy.

It's by no means the best of games, however If you find the other games in the Guitar Hero series a bit heavy or the songs too old etc. then this games set list is much more likely to appeal. It has Karaoke classics as well as more indie songs.Definitely worth a play as long as you already own a guitar controller and you can get it nice and cheap!

The game is guitar hero with more pop related songs. There's only about 30 songs, not even that I think and most are Taylor swift. There are some decent and well known songs but not a lot however for the price you can't complain.There are a lot more songs you can download but they cost 160 Microsoft points each which is roughly £1.20 each.

By all means this is a good game, good for everyone. However, if you're used to blasting through the harder songs of Guitar Hero 3, 4 and 5 then this will be a pushover for you- ridiculously easy. Anyway, don't let me stop you buying what is a potentially good game. On a personal level- the song list is fairly awful, but this is opinion.

Having played several Guitar Hero (GH World Tour, GH Metallica, GH5, GH6), I can say that Band Hero is also fun. Of course one might argue that the track list is a bit "softy" compared to the other Guitar Hero titles but I guess it was the purpose of the editor! Generally speaking, Band Hero is easier than the other GH titles.

Big Country sold this one to me. I love the genre and this was a different twist in terms of audience. The more players, as always, the better, but as a more solo player it was as enjoyable as all the others. And who hasn't checked out bands they have heard on these games elsewhere and bought CDs as a result?

Big fan of Guitar hero/Rock Band but also a fan of pop music, so this game was right up my alley. There's something for everyone on here; a few 80's tunes, a bit of pop rock, singers like Joss Stone and Lily Allen, and not one, but THREE Taylor Swift Songs! OMGJHNUDNL!!

This is one of the best games we have bought. Time flies when you play as a family. We used the singstar microphone and the guitar hero guitar both together and it kept the children entertained for hours.

Actually a great game ! Its like the other guitar hero games with more pop songs . Very cheap for a new copy . I couldn't believe the price was so low but it is and I recommend it for sure . Have fun :)

I really enjoy playing this game. There are more pop songs on here so if you're not in to heavy rock music but want to have a go at one if these games,this is the game for you.
