My little one loves the ZOG stories and I have seen a few toys before none of which really resembled the images in the book, this one is by far the best looking exactly like the books, its well made and really is great. he absolutely loved this when he saw it coming out of the packet and we have an amazing video of him seeing it for the first time.since then he hasn't really put ZOG down. its not the cheapest toy out there which is a shame as I now need to buy another one as I'm sure any parent will know when they pick a favourite they slowly turn it into a soggy slobber covered, smelly mess and they wont let you take it away for a clean so a second one is essential,

The toy is really well made. All the lines and stitching are perfect. The "scaly" skin material is interesting to feel. All the little claws, teeth, golden star, spikes are perfect. It is also well stuffed and has a very firm feel. I don't get the complaints about size and price. At about £14 it's perfectly reasonable. I was buying for a 2.5 year old and this Zog's height is literally half that of my boy's torso, plus the neck is comfortable to grip with a small hand. I would not want it bigger. I have other, giant, soft toys for him but they are not really portable. This one is perfect to carry around the house and take outside if he wants to.

Bought two for the grandchildren on a trip out for the day, where I knew they were selling them but for a considerably higher price. They loved them and have become a firm favourite.My only complaint, which is why it hasn’t got 5 stars, is the black part of the eye has rubbed away after a very short period of time (one week). As it’s a children’s toy it is going to get used a lot so I think this is a bit of letdown. Permanent marker pens will be used to give Zog his eyes back!

Bought this for my grandson, as he loves the book with this character in it. When I opened the box to see it, I wanted to keep it myself lol...it’s gorgeous, such a cute character with adorable features. It’s really cuddly, very sturdy and well made, it was smaller than I thought by looking at the photos, but as my grandson is only 1 years old, it’s a perfect size for him to play with. Would recommend it.

Excellent quality toy. It perfectly captures the Zog from the books and is beautifully made. Not sure why other reviewers are complaining about the cost as it does feel worth it’s price... I actually bought it from a book shop for its RRP (£19.99) and don’t really mind as it’s so lovely. We also have the Stickman figure and are very happy with that too.

Bought for a Zog obsessed, almost 3 year old. He loves it and it is the new favourite bedtime cuddly toy. It is a very good likeness to the Julia Donaldson character from the stories (and tv adaptations). I would agree that it is a touch over priced given its size, but if your little one is as taken with Zog as ours is, it is worth it.

Bought as a gift for a three year old Zog fan. They love it as it looks exactly like the character from the story book. It feels and looks well made. A bit expensive but it does look like a quality toy. We’ve also got the stick man and highway rat toys. This and the highway rat both have nice detail.

What a great book, dvd and wonderful toy! He’s very well made with lots of details on him such as his scales and his toes. He looks like the loveable Zog in the film and has brought a look of delight to the little girl that received him. Many thanks and warmly recommended.

My little girl saw this in a shop and wouldn't let go. We escaped that time, but she remembered him so he went on the wishlist. He's bright, looks just like he should from the book, and is covered in claws, scales and spikes making him the perfect Zog.

Bought for a 3rd birthday present for a Zog BBC show lover. It has now usurped the other favourite soft toys in her bed so job well done I think. Good likeness, she knew who it was supposed to be immediately. He even has a golden star on his chest.

Detail is impeccable! My daughter knew it was Zog (20 months) and that was the most important thing. He looks good and stands well - love itSlightly expensive and not overly soft as he has detailed scales etc.

Daughter 3yo loves her Zog, just like the picture in the book and the TV adaptation. Quite firmly stuffed for a soft toy but means he stands up well and it has not stopped him being cuddled in bed!

Just like the Zog in the books. My LG didn’t stop playing with him all Christmas. A favourite toy by far. She’ll have loads of fun with this. Just the right size for a toddler to play with.

I bought Zog for my Granddaughters 2nd birthday on 2nd May,, she is going to love it,, her favourite film at the moment is Zog, so she can now cuddle him while she watches him on the tv

Great to fit in a story sack and I know the sizeis stated but for the price it would have been nice for it to be a bit bigger! Still a lovely resource for a story sack or class book.
