Gorgeous little toy, small in stature but massive on detail. My son loves Julia Donaldson books and whilst the Highway Rat may not be quite as good as her masterpieces The Gruffalo and Room on the Broom, the BBC production on at Christmas was still received with great joy in our house and my son was desperate to get the DVD for his collection as soon as it came out. To accompany the DVD, I bought him this toy and stashed it away to come out only when the DVD was released. He really is quite beautiful, in his hat (with a feather), mask, cape and boots and even has a little ruffle on his shirt, a belt and a sword. His teeth are yellow like a real rat and he has a mischievous twinkle in his eye which is all very impressive given that he is only 9 inches from hat to boot.

It arrived on time and well packed. Loved to bits by my grandson. Bought for his second birthday after he became obsessed by the animation. I am writing this after some months and it has stood the test of being dragged everywhere, so I'd say it's well made! In terms of hours cuddled per pound this was VERY good value in our case.

What a lovely soft toy version of the Highway Rat. Just so you know he has lived with me for about a month now and there have not been any instances of him bullying anyone or stealing food - he really has turned over a new leaf. He is lovely quality - really soft and cuddly. Go on give this reformed character a forever home.

Gave this to my 2 year old for Christmas and he absolutely loves it!!! He's been obsessed with the book and film for a while now and this is a great little teddy to have. It's not huge, but has a lot of detail.

Got this for my youngest Grandson's birthday. He loves the book and the film so just had to get the rat! It's a hit! We love Julia Donaldson. Have quite a collection of characters between all the grandchildren

My sons favourite book and he is just delighted he has his own highway rat. By day he’s sweeping the cake shop floor But by night he’s tucked up in bed cosy every night without fail

A good quality toy that my daughter enjoyed using to help read along with the story. A bit pricey at the time of buying but there aren't any alternatives out there at the moment.

Bought for two year old who loves the story. Good size, nice material and good attention to detail it is exactly like the illustration in the book. My grandson adores this toy.

My 5 year old daughter wanted this not as ugly as I thought, good quality size not bad, I got it in offer! My daughter loved it and especially Father Christmas git it for her.

Thickness and sheerness?! ? Not how I usually score my babies toys, but heh. It's a lovely looking toy, very recognisable and seems well made. Nice size for a toddler.

Fast delivery and great product, my son loved it. We watch the highway rat every night before bed and now he has the highway rat to join him xx

Looks exactly like the character in the book. My little boy LOVED it and it is an ideal size for him to use in little role play scenarios.

Lovely little rat..looks just like the highway rat..it's super cute n cuddly...I hope my son likes it as much as I do lol
