My little Hey Duggee fan loves this and is really cute trying to do impressions of the catch phrases. The voice does resemble that of the character. The best one on this toy is "we've got a FIRE ENGINE!!!" with echo, which results in lots of giggles! Just wish it also had "BIRD!", "ACORN!. . . ACORN!. . . ACORN!" and "YELLOW!...YELLOW!...YELLOW!" But never mind, it does have a great rendition of Roly's signature cackle! It is a bit difficult for a toddler to find the button and press it, but it works if they give him a big squeeze, kick him or sit on him so it's fine. It is a bit bigger than the non-talking plush toys, which are just the right size for a young toddler to hold and cuddle.Roly is hilarious and our favourite. This toy has brought plenty of smiles, very pleased.Update: I hadn't had him a week and he stopped working! I decided to open him up and try to change the batteries. I found the finishing stitches which are double thread near his bum and unpicked them. This is a separate thread so you can remove it to create a hole just big enough to get the electronics out without unraveling the rest of the stitches. The sound unit is stitched in a little bag and this is attached I guess to stop children getting to the batteries if he had a hole, which is a good safety point. I could see a battery compartment with a screwed on lid, but Roly started talking again! Having brought him back to life, I stitched him up again so I don't know what batteries he takes, probably the little button batteries. I think that the button to make him talk had gotten stuck and I had inadvertently fixed it by pulling the voice unit out. So if he stops working, just try and squidge the voice unit around a bit to free the button, or you may be able to change the batteries with a bit of sewing effort!

Betty is adorable, she's the Hermione of the Duggee gang and a good role model to young girls especially that it's cool to be clever and read and clever children can join in messy fun too. This grape-purple faithful representation of Betty is both cuddly and speaks some phrases from the earlier series. The speaker is a bit fiddly at first but then once you know where to press its easy and even my 21 month old can handle it easily, I prefer it being a little bit awkward as then it's not being set off by a toy sitting next to it or something falling on it and setting it off all night running down the irreplaceable battery. We got this as a 'being brave'surprise for our 4 year old as she had a big hospital appointment with lots of blood tests required and her tears turned to beams of joy when she saw her beloved Betty there to make her smile. Worth every penny, although it was a shock in the night when she rolled over on it and it spoke to us!

My daughter loves Duggee, so the prospect of her having her own version I had to buy. In terms of fabric it’s what you expected, fairly robust and full of stuffing. She likes to throw and kick him about like a ball and he does bounce too so she thinks that’s great. His arms, legs and tail are small and him enough for little hands to get a good grip and carry him round. He definitely looks like Duggee and she recongnised him as soon as out of box .The sounds not great , I’m not sure why but I thought it would play the theme music- it doesn’t . It does a few woods but you need to squeeze it tight. I’m assuming that’s as you need to give him a Duggee hug, although my daughter just jumps on top of him to get him to make the sounds.I like that you can get the other matching figures too! Although I think a set would be expensive at £14 each!

My children love Hey Duggee (I do too) and I think a universal favourite has got to be Roly, his infectious enthusiasm and joy at everything is captured in his delightful toy form, cuddly but plushy firm and speaks several phrases from the early series. Sadly that means no 'BIRD!' 'BUBBLES!' Or 'JELLY!' all of which have become part of our vernacular delivered Roly style, but they are still fun, and to be fair my children just love the fact it's Roly, he doesn't have to speak!Well made, but irreplaceable batteries. Be aware this can't go through the wash if messy because of the sealed in unit, but it means you can safely give it to a child younger than 3.

Purchased this item for a one year old child after watching the television programme. The toy is soft and safe for this age group, the toy is a good size for small hands and arms. There are no bits that could accidentally come off during playtime, it has badges attached to the dogs body but they are cloth and are attached directly to it.The toy says a few phrases when squeezed, by phrases I mean woof woof and such like but this is in keeping with the television show.Very happy with my purchase as is my granddaughter who loves to play with the toy, other characters for the programme are also available.

This soft duggee is faboulius and my Grandson loved it, but it’s a little bit of a con! I’d seen the soft toy around and I was looking where to get one at the best price. I shopped around and noticed this one was about £6 cheaper and I thought I’d got a good deal!, however, after keeping it for a month or two ready for my Grandons Birthday I noticed that it only said “woof woof” where as the more expensive one said more phrases! So don’t be fooled like I was thinking you’re getting a good price, it’s probably the toy that says less!

Duggee was purchased for our 10 month old twin girls Christmas .The twins are very familiar with the program having been older siblings of 3 , 4 and 7 .They just love duggee and to press his tummy to hear his phrases .Duggee isn’t super soft , I’d say he is fairly rigid , but possibly because he is still relatively new in our house hold . With that said , the twins are neither up nor down , they love him just the same .

It is as described, a plush with sound, not particularly soft and the sound quality isn't brilliant but it's okay. The "phrases" are obviously several different "woof" sounds since Duggee in the TV show doesn't actually talk. It's probably quite a typical price for this kind of toy really although not particularly cheap. It's a fairly good purchase, my son loves Duggee and is happy with it and that's all that matters.

Bought this for my little duggee obsessed nephew who turned one. It's a nice bear but to get duggee to talk you have to push quite hard on his stomach to the point of it looking like you're doing CPR on a bear! Lol! So I'm not sure on the age range as my niece who is 3 had to CPR it to get it to work too. Volume isnt that loud either BUT my nephew loves it so I'm still happy I bought it :)

Hey Duggee is the cartoon of choice for our little girl (she hates Bing and who can blame her) so we bought this for her first birthday. It's a really good size and nice to cuddle, although with only small arms it is quite hard for little ones to pick up. The sounds are spot on though and always get a smile as they're exactly like cartoon Duggee. Has been a big hit in our house!

Toy is good as described. Works fine with 6 different sounds as you press his tummy. Sounds are loud enough for baby to hear them not like some other toys where you can't hear a sigle world. The one and only BIG drawback is you can't change the batteries if it runs out. Its all stitched and no place left for batteries to come out, so once batteries gone they are gone.

I mean, its hey duggee, who doesnt love hey duggee. I bought this for my 14 month old nephew who loves watching the show and we also watch it with him because its so damn good:) Toy is quite big and really well made, sound quality is very good but not great, it also comes with a badge, which is really sweet. Overall, really good quality and very good purchase.

Good value for money but didn’t realise until after I’d purchased that you can’t change the batteries when they’ve gone. He’s perfect for my little hey Duggee fan. The sound is also a bit quiet and he’s not as thick as I thought he’d be. In hindsight I would probably have gone for the one that costs a little more if it was better.

Absolutely amazing, thank you so much. I was searching everywhere for a Roly and was a little sceptical that it wouldn’t turn up before Christmas but it did with plenty of time. I had one very happy little boy on Christmas Day who thought I wasn’t able to get one for him.I think I may love it just as much as him though ?

I want to give 4 stars but my toddler was SO happy with his Duggee I can’t!! He hasn't put him down since I unboxed him and has taken him to bed along with his bunny. I just wish the sounds came from the badges as it’s quite finicky to press his chest for little fingers. Which means It is brought to me a 100 times haha!
