I have always had a laptop but I got very fed up with them slowing down and so longwinded starting it up. When they brought out windows 10 it was even worse. My granddaughters got a chrome book and demonstrated it to me and I was hooked. It doesn’t need virus software it only needs you to shut the lid and it’s asleep, and it fires up so quickly in the blink of an eye. You can expand the memory with a card or stick. There is no way I will go back to a laptop now. You can get lots of apps online.

This was purchased as quick win for school work and some work from home tasks for business. For school/study projects it work great and its ideal for surfing the net etc.It’s not ideal for business use as the absence of Del/End keys mean you need an external keyboard to operate with the functionality you of a laptop. That’s not the Chrome Book fault as it is not a laptop. Just something the remember if you are going to buy one in haste.It’s great for the money but it’s not a laptop.

Budget portable computer or alternative to a tablet. If you accept this, you'll not be disappointed by any limitations. Silent in use, OK speakers, good keyboard (not backlit) and OKish battery life are pros. One of a few Chromebooks with a (NOT touch NOT full HD) 15" display. Trackpad has a rough finish to begin with but becomes smoother over time. Display lid is aluminium, the rest of the case is plastic. You can connect a 4K TV using a USBC to HDMI adapter. Android apps ARE supported.

Purchase this chrome book so that my wife would be able to watch her church service on a Sunday morning, when you consider my wife has a foreordained easy phone and has never managed to text I was worried teaching her to used the chrome book could end in tears I thought for the money I’d give it a go, she now watches the live streams, browses the internet and uses what’s app video to speak to our son. Amazed with the chrome book very fast, great battery life and ease of use. 10/10

I got this Chrome book as wanted a slim portable laptop that I can use to write on. I have an Asus pc so decided to get the same make as I like the product. I am very pleased with this chrome book, it is easy to use, has good battery life. It has its own word processing system which is great.I can access the internet and Google applications easily, would highly recommend. The initial getting on internet took a long time, with password etc but once this is sorted it is fine.

I am very happy with this product, it is perfect for me and easy to use.The only problem i had was when buying antivirus software with this i found out it wasn't actually compatible but now i have activated the software so cannot send it back. I believe this wasn't made clear when i was buying the product.Other than wasting money on an anti virus software which i cannot use i am happy with the laptop itself and am enjoying learning new things on it.

I have never had a laptop before and saw this one at a very good price in argos. Im not computer savvy and have only used a smart phone and a tablet. This chromebook is so easy to use and fast as lightening. i was up and running in ten minutes after i signed into google. I absolutely love it and each day i find more more and more new things about it. I would definitely recommend it. If this chromebook broke I would without a doubt purchase another one.

My previous laptop was really slow and I thought it was the wifi, but it was 7 years old and and I was told that it was indeed time to get a new one. Found this one with the same sizes screen on offer from Argos. It is brilliant. Ordered online and picked up the next day. Slick, fast, light, I am really chuffed with it. Can't believe how quick it is!! Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Bought for my partner who is 70, has a few health issues and is definitely not a fan of technology. Very easy to set up for him, good battery life and simple, screen icons so its it's hard for him to go wrong. Probably would have been better with a mouse as he finds the touchpad difficult to manage as it is very sensitive - this would be a good thing for many but confusing for him.

I got this for my son for Christmas, and he loves it. It was easy to set up and he loves the fact you can link it up with his phone too, so he can turn his chrome book off with his phone lol. The picture and sound is fantastic and it's so hight in weight and very slim line too. So all in all I think this is a great product and I would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Nice looking, slim chromebook which booted up in seconds and connected effortlessly to wifi. The larger screen makes it easy to use and keyboard and trackpad are very responsive. Too early to tell about battery life as it was only opened yesterday, but charged quickly ( instructions advise to initially charge for 3 hours before using as standalone).

My whole experience from start to finish was brilliant, the staff at Argos were so helpful and explained all the details of the laptop and warranty etc before I even purchased it to make sure I was happy with the item. This is the best laptop I have owned and will definitely be looking at Argos in the future if anything is needed.

Works for great for uni work. Like every Chromebook you need to check if there's any specific software you need, but you use word online (or the android version) or just switch to google docs with very little effort. I've also been converting my PowerPoint slides from lecture into google slides with no differences so far.

This device was very easy to set up. Battery holds it's charge well and charges very quickly after the initial charge. performs very well and great value with large screen and 64gb storage. No problems with wireless function. I'm really pleased with it. Have yet to try printing from it or using the office type programs.

The Chromebook is a large tablet with a keyboard. It isn't touch screen which is a slight problem as all other devices I have are touch screen. The performance is good and quite fast, the screen/graphics are clear. The battery life is very good.All in all the Chromebook is good it just needs me to learn to use it. Ia
