Once I figured out how to make things work in ChromeOS, this laptop does (almost) just work.Parental approval for the kids works really well and there are all the usual Android apps available.32gb is plenty of storage as it turns out as well, must remember that ChromeOS is not Windows.It is not easy to get printers working with this, & it is annoying to have to add the same app to individual user profiles rather than being able to install it for everyone. Not the laptops fault though

Am pleased with my purchase. This replaced my Toshiba laptop, which was 7 years old. Was a little apprehensive moving onto to a different set up but so pleased I did. Easy to set up and sync with my Samsung mobile phone, the weight is good - very light. Negatives not significant, looking up how to perform certain functions eg. no delete key. Slight issue signing in as it does not recognise my password (I am certain it is correct!) Would recommend this for someone who is not very IT literate.

Absolutely marvelous for the price. Much faster than my desktop pc which is slow in comparison, and the battery life is amazing. A full charge will last you ages. Ideal for taking somewhere where plug sockets are hard to come by like camping or the beach etc. Loads web pages up very quickly and is very suitable for web browsing. I'm very impressed with Google's operating system and is so much more easier to navigate than windows 10. I cant believe how cheap they are too. Well worth the cash.

I purchased this for my Mother, who has macular degeneration, so a tablet wasn't sufficient anymore for reading books online. There is a Kindle app specific to Chromebooks. I was able to go into the device's settings and make the cursor/arrow and the font/lettering size larger and altered the screen brightness and warmth/colouring to improve the reading experience. Check your HP warranty by registering the device with them online (no paper copy enclosed). No vents so it's warm underneath.

So far the BEST notebook EVER....I volunteer in the Alternative Lifestyle so I have to log into Adult websites. As you all probably know that adult sites are THE worst for viruses and spyware etc.... This IS what you need whether you're in that lifestyle or not.Bit more advice... download AVG, pay for the premium and that will Max your security. Super fast is an understatement xxxx

The Hp Chromebook was as described. The battery life is really long so I don’t have to charge every minute. Product was carefully packaged. Performance is excellent. Its not heavy so it’a easy to handle. Was really looking for something simple and easy to use and i got just that. Excellent product information and product availability. Will be recommending Argos and buying in future.

I collected my Chromebook with ease from Argos within Sainsburys. Its light and very portable. It connects with my Google drive on my android phone making all my files and some apps available on the laptop. My husband and I can login with our separate Gmail profiles so it's secure too. It's exactly what I wanted and more! Good value for money and easy to setup and use.

After working from a much smaller (both in size and memory GB) Cloudbook, I'm so pleased I upgraded to this Chromebook!As I already use Gmail/Google Chrome regularly, this made perfect sense. Great for working every day, easy to set up, security (through Google) included. Long battery life. Lovely large screen. Lightweight and easy to carry. Just great all-round.

Did not Know what a Chrome book was till I bought one. Only differences I can find is that it uses Google chrome to surf the net and the screen is what I would call matt finish rather than gloss, if that makes sense. I am pleased with it up to now, see what it like long term, weather it slows down. For the price it appears to be all round good value.

I brought this laptop just two weeks ago for work purposes. I could not reccomend a better laptop. the way it is built and designed and how i can download word and excel all for free!!! imagine that. If your lookinjg for a easdy use laptop with everything on it, dont go any further searching. buy this one. cheap and amazing price and great value.

I sometimes feel I'm the biggest technophobe on earth, but the simplicity of the HP Chromebook gives me the confidence to try things I never thought I could manage. It's as though it takes me by the hand and gently leads me through the various passages of new things I've learned to do just by trying! I regret I didn't get one sooner.

Make sure you get a gmail account.....then when you fire this laptop up....you will find nearly all of the stuff from your old machine will be there.So wanted this Chromebook for my Banking, utilities, emails, Youtube....etc.Great battery life...ultra portable. Even my yahoo email was there.....amazing!.Well happy.....enjoy.

Being a septuagenarian technophobe I unpacked this computer with some ,fully expecting the need to "phone a friend" for help with set up. Guess what ? Ten minutes later I had it up and running,data transferred and linked up to my phone ! ( I think already being on gmail certainly helped ) If I can do it anybody can !!!

great all round, speed on internet, portability, ready for use etc. Best for internet use, like Netflix, youtube, only area of compromise is: CNS program commands like an absence of shutdown timer, right click menu drop down e.g. tricky when trying to lift photos, can't log out of google, and can't save to desktop.

Great looking laptop, amazing battery life lasts a long time even after watching catch up tv/movies, didn’t realise when I brought it that it can’t do much more than what a phone or tablet does in the sense of it doesn’t run windows or any application discs, should of read the description, but still a great laptop
