Bought this to replace ideapad 110s. Compared with old model it has fasted hard drive(Sandisk), usbc, more memory. The minuses are - No M.2 connector on motherboard. Bios could support M2, but there is no physical connector. 64GB drive is ok, but the only expansion is microSD card. It has Realtek Wifi/Bluetooth card& can't work with Linux out of a box or at all(?). Another issue is that it's prone to overheating when playing light games. At that point processor starts throttle& game freezes.

This is a great laptop for transporting it around without being worried about taking an expensive laptop. I didn’t need anything too powerful and am not into games etc. For a cheap laptop it is more than capable running office documents and syncing diary and emails etc. If you wanted to do gaming or video / photo editing it wouldn’t be good enough. It runs windows 10s really well, quick start up time and easy to load up applications as long as they are from the windows store.

The laptop is suitable for students during the lectures to take notes. It can last longer, I suppose, when the light of the screen is lowered. I just do not like when I have to click the power on button and initially I was not sure if the laptop was charging as there is no light on the keyboard that signals you that the laptop is charging.Nonetheless, I can carry in my bag for my university work. The laptop is extremely firm on the protection against computer viruses.

This is a very basic product, but for the money it is probably unbeatable. It is extremely lightweight, which is the main reason that I bought it. I dislike the fact that although it is a Microsoft product, it is not possible to run a security scan on it as I do with other computers. Apparently, the system is supposed to be secure, but it would be reassuring to be able to scan the device. The laptop itself looks sleek, smart and it is very portable.

Bought this because fed up of waiting for my clogged up "real" laptop boot times and ready to go times!This is great, OK the spec is minimal, but boots in around 5 secs and ready to wordprocess etc in a few more secs. Need to add storage (256Gb SD card in my case). Convert to Windows 10 home ASAP, don't listen to those who say it slows everything... It doesn't! Don't clog it with loads of apps and it's fantastic!

But not quite as fast. It'll play any file using apps available. You don't need to use MS Word if you're already using Gdrive. Loads of apps which work. Picture quality for poor quality film d/ls (!) is excellent. The Chromebook too is a good device, but the apps aren't up to it unless you use Androids. And you can always upgrade to full windows 10 to run more complex stuff, if wanted. I'm well pleased.

Absolutely delighted with this very light portable laptop. I wasn’t sure whether to buy it as it was at a very cheap price but honestly it’s amazing. I can do everything I need to on this little number. It has a HMDI port and had to use this when our SKY tv went wrong. You can plug everything you need into the USB port. I am really happy. Bought it to take it on holiday to start writing my book! Smiley face

I ordered this Lenovo Ideapad to replace my Asus notebook which had run out of memory. I wanted something that is small and light to carry around. I found the Lenovo at Argus at a really good price. Ordered in the morning and it was delivered in the afternoon, so no interruption to my work. I really like this Cloudbook, the MS Office Suite was pre-installed so I just turned it on and started work.

Excellent performance from a well designed and very portable laptop. Bought it for writing Word documents on the go and for web surfing ie basic needs. It does both very efficiently and I have been very pleased with the results. My other laptop is a MacBook Pro so I am used to high standards and the Ideapad does just what I require it to do. On that basis I would highly recommend it.

This laptop is very light, portable and doesn't get even warm! Everything solid state so quiet as well. I have got rid of the windows store requirements and use it as a simple machine for internet, email etc. So far exceeds my expectations. Only niggle was having to contact Lenovo to sort out warranty start date but easy to google the issue and they corrected within 24 hours!

Bought a couple of weeks ago when my wife’s current computer was damaged.Don’t admit to being an expert on these things but took the advice of a friend and bought the Lenovo. Money well spent in my opinion as it does exactly when my wife wanted especially as she is now having to work from home.Quick, good memory and the added Office download makes it a bargain.

I bought this for my daughter, I was a bit worried that it would not be up to the task of a Uni Student, but according to my daughter, it's great, small and portable. If I knew this before, I would have not bought the other laptop a year ago which was hundreds more and is knackered.If this lasts a year or so, I'll be happy !!!

I bought this as I have changed career and needed something to be able to do quite a lot of E training on and this fits the bill. Sits on your knee so you aren't tied to using a table and the battery life is sufficient for my liking. Still need to explore its capabilities but so far I am really pleased.

The laptop is a good size for being portable. Or if you don't want a full desktop sized laptop.The touch keys are light and responsive. Nice sleek design.Comes with Office applications installed already.Screen is nice and sharp.Not sure about battery life as it is still new.
