I bought a second hand reconditioned Lenovo T420 (which is great). It unfortunately came with a non-original charger (labelled "Adapter"). If I plugged the sound out socket into the HiFi the loudspeakers made a horrible screaming noise, if on battery charge.This replacement charger that I purchased from here, is clean and reliable. Clear audio without nasty noises, which probably means it is better for the charge cycle too,

The plug on the old charger had fallen apart, this replacement was simple plug and play and works perfectly. It restored peace to the household.

Whilst a little more expensive than I expected, it is hard to source this component and it is vital. Works absolutely the same as the original.
