Bought this to staple batting and fabric on to pine plywood to create a padded headboard. It never jammed (I used only Arrow staples in 5/16 or 3/8"). It stapled perfectly about 50% of the time. The rest of the staples were a little crinkled and I had to hammer them flat. I have strong hands, but I also have arthritis in my hands. So I probably did not have firm enough pressure against the plywood board which resulted in the crinkled staples. My 67-year-old hands never hurt from having to grip or press too hard. That alone gets it an extra star. For women, particularly older women, this is a great tool.

This is exactly what I needed. I have small hands and this is easy to use. No skipped staples at all.
