Just ordered a second replacement pair for a 7 year old , after 8 months of use. Probably twice a week, plus several hours of daily use during summer holidays and swimming classes. I went for the clear lens as I felt that allowed better communication with the instructor - they can see the child's eyes, and keep eye contact. Quite important if there's a particularly chatty group swimming! It's quite easy for a 7 Year old to adjust themselves, although the 3 year old struggles to keep them on.The lenses did scratch quite early on, by the inner corners of the eyes - I think that's where the fingernails grip them to take them on and off. Some children keep theirs on for the entire lesson, whilst others prefer them off when they're not the water. If your child falls into the latter category, then possibly they will scratch as ours did.The tip of one of the straps broke off after 7 months, but it didn't affect it much, however, the corner adjustment mechanism has finally given up the ghost. These do fill with water, but my child doesn't seem affected by that. Am quite keen on the fact that there aren't lots of goggle marks at the end of a 30 minute lesson. These won't last forever, but I am pleased with the cost per wear. (I bought another version of these,, same brand, on which the strap broke literally without ever being worn, hopefully a fluke). The clear top, plastic carry case that it comes in is also very useful for keeping them dust free etc, albeit a bit bulky.

These are great. I did a lot of research and checked reviews on a LOT of goggles before picking these. I am glad I got them. With our old goggles my 6 yr old son had to smash his goggles on his face so that water wouldn't come in. His eyes and skin would swell and it looked horrible. NOT with these though. It took a few times of me reminding him that he didn't have to smash them on his face for a tight suction. He was skeptical of just placing them on his face and going under water. Now he no longer suctions his goggles onto his face! Gentle, easy to use and comfortable!!! Also very easy to adjust. Perfect for kids! I might buy another pair with tint on them for some protection from the sun when swimming outside.Just buy them. Your kid's faces and eyes will thank you.

My 6 year old daughter has sensitivity to chlorine, but loves the pool. She kept taking off her regular (cheap) goggles and would end up with red/itchy eyes after swim lessons. One of her swimming buddies had a pair of Aqua Sphere so I went into the local sports shop to get her a pair. It was helpful to have her try on the different Aquasphere Youth styles (Kayenne, Seal, Vista). With her smaller face the Kayenne style seemed to fit her the best. Unfortunately they did not have the color (pink) she wanted so found them on amazon. She now happily keeps her googles on during swim class and we have not had issues with the chlorine.

My three year old granddaughter was fixated on getting water out of her eyes during swimming lessons that she couldn't continue with the lessons. Her instructor suggested goggles, my research on Amazon produced excellent advice and I bought the Aqua Sphere Kayennes for her. The goggles fit the around the brow and cheek bone rather than just the eye socket, which is great for a first time user of goggles. She loves the fashion color and comfort of the Aqua Sphere Kayenne and proceeds with lessons without a second thought about the water in her eyes. A worthy investment, in my opinion!

Bought these for my almost 3 and 5 year old for pond swimming. They are perfect for them. They are easy to adjust. They seem to be really good at keeping a tight seal on little heads and they don't fog hardly at all. I can easily adjust them from kid to kid if they are sharing a pair and my 5 year old can get them on by herself most of the time. They are comfortable enough that they can leave them on for longer periods of time whereas our old goggles (different brand) they were always taking on/off to relieve some discomfort on their cheeks from the pressure.

My almost 6 year old wears these for swim lessons. We have gone through so many other brands and they just never fit well or worked! Cheap ones, expensive ones, larger snorkel kind ones-- they always had the same problem of filling up with water. I was beginning to think my kid just had an odd head and face that didn't work with swim goggles but then i was searching amazon and went through the reviews of these goggles and took a chance--they work fabulous and he and his swim instructor never complain or have to fidget to fix or tighten or do anything. LOVe!

I bought these goggles for my son as he was constantly fiddling about with his old ones claiming that there were uncomfortable when swimming. They just didn't seem right for his face contour, too loose and they let in the water, too tight and they are uncomfortable. There are no such problems with this set of of googles. Not only do they look great they work well i.e. they are easy to adjust, are tight enough to not allow the water in but not too tight to be uncomfortable. In short, they do what they are designed to do. I am very pleased with the purchase.

i had bought the vista's for my kids (ages 7 and 5) last summer. they were soft, well made and my kids like them very much. but the area around the nose bridge kept leaking in small amounts over time. i bought these kayenne juniors because some of the reviews mentioned that they worked better for smaller faces. and indeed they do. no more leaks and my kids like them. they are very well made and my kids prefer them over the speedos and other goggles they had in the past. the vista will stay in the closet until my kids grow into them.

I bought these goggles for my 7 year old son after the adult ones worked so well for me and him. We are casual swimmers and are just looking for goggles that are comfortable and don't leak. These (Junior and Adult) are the best goggles I have ever used. They do not leak at all and they suck on to your face so good my 7 year old son was able to use the adult ones until his juniors came in. In addition, they are super easy to adjust with the quick release buttons. I don't have a single bad thing to say about this product.

My 3 year (almost 4) needed goggles for his swim class. The standard goggles that came with his class were uncomfortable and water always leaked in so he never kept them on.He loves these goggles-very comfortable for him and even though he has a slim bridge, water doesn't get in.The only con is the lack of button release like the other Aqua Sphere goggles. I wish the goggles came with the release button.Regardless, I will be repurchasing the goggles for my daughter and my nephews and nieces.

Great fit on my 6 year old son, and he loves them. No leaks, no misting up and plenty of adjustment on the straps.Protective case supplied is a bit larger than the goggle to ensure they are protected and not squashed to protect the seals.Out performs the standard goggles based on seals to keep the water out, and comfort and not needing to adjust them again once on unlike the previous sets of standard goggles tried.Great item, worth the extra expense opposed to trying several cheaper pairs.

this is just an initial reaction to the goggles, These were bought to replace a pair of zoggs for my son which barely lasted 4 weeks before they broke at the joint. He is a big 5 year old and i was hoping for something sturdy. So far these fit the bill. The joints are much sturdier and they are a good fit for him. The adjustment is quite easy, he even figured out how to do it for himself. the design he says is cool, and it appears to give him a more comfortable watertight fit.

My five year old loves to swim, but has always been afraid to put his face in the water. We’ve tried goggles and masks, but he hated every one (uncomfortable and leaky), until these. He put these goggles on by himself, tested putting his face in, and immediately began swimming around the pool with his face in the water and dunking himself under. It’s been over an hour and he refuses to get out of the pool, because he loves going under so much. A-mazing!

My daughter didn't like how tight around her eyes all the other goggles fit, so I tried these based on the larger lens size. She loves them. I no longer have to constantly adjust her goggles as they pinch around her eyes and nose. My one complaint (and the reason for removing a star) is that the adjustment mechanism on the kids goggles isn't as nice as the buttons on the adult ones. It would be a 5 star product if they added the push button adjustment.

These are amazing goggles and so comfortable for my 4 year old. She uses them for every day swimming and for the swim team. We got 2 pair- one with clear lens for evening swim meets and one blue tinted for all other swimminh in the sun. Love this brand for kids above all others and been buying them for years. My daughter no longer likes the fuller mask version that this company makes and prefers these instead. Super easy to adjust and do not fog up!
