Zoggs are a brand leader when it comes to swimming aids and equipment. you can find their products for sale in sports shops and also places like the Early Learning Centre, where they have lots of innovative items to help kids learn to swim. The kickboard is "tombstone" shaped, and made from ethylene vinyl acetate, which in texture is somewhere between polystyrene and rubber. It is certainly more solid than polystyrene, but has the same light properties that makes it a perfect float. The kickboard is designed for children between 4 and 12 years old, but I think it is perfect for anyone learning to swim, even adults. The board is a perfect size to provide a comfortable, natural hold and position when swimming. The child can hold it out in front while kicking with their legs, or hold it across their tummy whilst swimming on their back. It really does provide excellent buoyancy when in the water, and my daughter loved the freedom of not being restricted by her armbands. When she wanted to try swimming on her own, she could just leave the board at the side of the pool, rather than have the hassle of pulling the armbands on and off.The progress that she made since buying the board is astonishing. After about 3 swimming sessions with the board, she was confidently swimming for short distances without it. The board has really helped her a lot with her swimming, much more so than the armbands ever did.The board is a simple and practical style which is not too bulky or cumbersome to take on a swimming trip with you. It fits neatly into a carrier bag along with your cozzie and towel! When you leave the water, the nature of the material means that the board dries very quickly, and once you have dressed yourself after swimming you can pop it back in the bag and take it home. When I get the board home, I do like to give it a quick wipe over with an antibacterial wipe before I put it away. It stores neatly and unobtrusively on top of the dresser in the living room, when it sits until the next swimming session. One warning for cat owners! I accidentaly left the board on the living room floor one evening and our cat found it absolutely irresistible! When I came into the room, the board had tooth and claw marks all down the one side (a bit like the school floats!). Luckily, the sturdy design of the board meant that the damage was only superficial, and she didn't manage to break any bits off the float, but I did make sure that I kept the board out of the way of the cat after that!

I was a bit unsure whether I should buy this as my little boy is only 8 months. However, it came in so handy at the pool. I was able to use it to get him used to lying down in the water (with me constantly holding him of course). The board is really sturdy and colourful. It's also something he can use for quite a few years, so I know I'll get my money's worth.Am really impressed with its quality, much better than the floats they had for free use at the swimming pool.

Despite the age range on the product description being for older children we bought on of these for our 12 month old twins, they absolutely loved having it put under their tummy while we whoosed them around the swimming pool. It is a lovely, brightly coloured and sturdy float that we are clearly going to get loads of use out of. Often this type of float becomes dog eared quite quickly but this seems like it will last a long time.

The kickboard is good quality and the pictures have not worn off with regular use. It is possible to leave teeth marks in (tested by my two year old, not myself), but I have yet to see a childs float that it is not possible to do that in. Would I buy this again? No, because actually I have discovered that kickboards with finger holes in are a lot easier for children to hold on to.

Bought for 3 year old Granddaughter who has so far played in pool for many months but is now taking swimming lessons. It is an excellent aid when learning to float on her back and gives her confidence. However thought it might be just a little bit larger. Good price and good product. She also has the zoggs arm bands which are usefully graded in ages.

Although my granddaughter loves this it does seem a bit small for a growing 4 year year old. I am teaching her to swim in our 10 ft pool and she is gaining confidence so in that respect, its a winner. Maybe for a smaller child this would be better. as it does not give you a lot of room at the ends to hang on. but good for a float board

I didn't actually keep this kickboard as I had one bought for my little boy as a present. I returned it to "Surfdome" and they processed a refund straightaway - the whole process took just a matter of days. Very impressed so just wanted to comment on the speedy and excellent customer service! Thanks.

Use this in my swim school so they take a bit of hammering but lasting really well so I brought more. Great size for kids to use between ages 3-10. They are solid to feel more supportive then some floats I've seen and good size for kids. Even been used by adults for small amount of support.

This is a really nice kickboard if your wee one is learning to swim. It helps their confidence in the water but unless they are confident swimmers they should always be supervised when using it. It is bright and colourful and my grand daughter loves playing with it, good value for money.

This floats are perfect for my 3 years old. The size is just right for him (in order to practice kicking) and he loves the images on them. Very good and really cheap. Not to mention that I ordered in the evening at in the morning my order arrived. Grab yourself a bargain!

Great little floats. Ideal size for use in a modest sized summer pool. Kids aged from 3 to 10 years use them in our 14ft dia bestway pool. Even our 13 year old enjoys playing with them when he thinks one is looking! Seem pretty good quality but only time will tell.

Great little float. Just right size for our 4 year old son, who is just starting to swim with no swim aids. Adds to his confidence jumping in the pool. Helps with the swimming technique, stretching forwards and kicking strong. I would recommend to any new swimmer.

The float is quite small and I do question how much you are getting for your money. However, my 3 year old loved it for her holiday, it was used to help her swim on the front and back. I would say it would be too small for a larger child, but up to 5 seems fine.

This is a brilliant swimming aid, brought for my 4 year old, she is small and have found previous floats being to large for her to use this is the perfect size and the design is lovely, even my 18 month old loves to play with it in the pool.

These are quite small but it is an ideal swimming aid. Just be careful to write a surname or something on it to tell it apart from all the others at the pool. Cute character on it which was instrumental in getting my eldest to use it.
