A little background. I am an amateur swimmer and so I've never really gotten into swimming. A scary experience when I was younger had swayed me from swimming so I took up lifting weights instead. Well fast forward a few years, and knee surgery later I needed a new outlet in terms of staying in shape and staying healthy. I decided it was time to try swimming. I'd heard all the fantastic health benefits and so decided to make a habit out of it. Eventually I got pretty decent at swimming but chlorine kind of burns the eyes... At that point I needed to pick up some goggles. I'd known other more well known brands but always found friends complaining about their quality and their lack of comfort. After a couple of days research, I decided on these. Possibly the best decision I've made in terms of swimming equipment.First off upon purchase. The product comes in a nice plastic case which I continued to use upon purchase. The case was sturdy and so after I'm done swimming, I just toss them into the case. Upon examination of the labels on the package, the product is made in Italy. Upon opening the package, I decided to get a feel for the product. It seemed well built and upon stretching the elastic of the goggles, it seemed quite durable. I tried them on right then and there and found the goggles were rather tight at first, but the straps on the side were quite easy to adjust with a snapping sound to indicate it is securely in place. If you want to simply loosen it, you just push down on the button and pull the goggles to lengthen them. If you have a smaller head like myself (small noggin), the little flaps get longer and so they can start like flapping around and could potentially become irritating. Simply tuck them into the little "bridge" (Sorry don't know how to describe what I'm referring to) that is available so they don't flap around. After adjusting and making them comfortable, I fit them on. I did also want to comment that the back band is a single band as it wraps around your head, but towards the back it splits into two which I felt was much more comfortable. (I hope that made sense. I'll try to upload a picture if I get the chance if no one has yet) The goggles provide almost full use of your peripheral vision, which has become surprisingly useful when swimming in a packed swimming pool. The plastic material of the goggles eye wear seemed durable and I confirmed that by scratching them with my nail and luckily no scratches came to be.The Test! Finally I had a free day to go swimming. Upon entering the water, I put the goggles on and secured the them onto my face. My biggest concern at this point was that the goggles which if you press down onto your face will give a suction feel to them and secure in place. I was worried that due to my rather bushy eyebrows, the goggles would not secure in place well enough and would allow water to go in. So excited when I started swimming and could see without having chlorine burn my pupils! So I guess in accordance with what I'm trying to say, is that they should secure and fit well on any face regardless of the contour of your face. In the water, moving fast or slow the goggles stayed tight and and did not loosen or allow water to enter.I did also want to note that I have dropped these goggles a couple of times, and they did not sustain any damage to them.Whether you're an amateur just starting to swim, or a regular, I would highly recommend this product and would definitely purchase it again!

My wife bought these on Amazon a few years ago, and though they started getting worn after frequent use, the material seeming to gradually turn more yellow, duller and less see-through (bleach exposure?), they served her so well that when the time came to get new ones, she bought exactly the same. Having tried them on a few times, I got a pair for myself too. Despite being labelled for "ladies", whatever styling they have that makes them so is very subtle, and they fit my eyes rather well, and so I couldn't see any reason to try something I didn't know. The headband adjusts quite easily and has a significant stretch to it that makes it a snug and secure fit. The plastic tabs you push to adjust the strap are probably the goggles'weak spot, however, and on my wife's original pair, one side broke, though the goggles still worked fine afterwards even if the strap could loosen a bit on its own accord. The fit is snug and waterproof, tight - if you want to - yet not uncomfortable as far as I am concerned, even if it feels like they are keeping my eyes a bit wider open than I am used to. This will vary a lot from person to person, of course.Despite being for ladies, the headband is big enough for almost any conceivable head size unless you're a giant, or someone with hair so massive you look like the aliens from "Mars Attacks" with a highly stretchable swimcap on. My hat size is about 59cm, and I still have a decent amount of strap to spare when I wear them.Whatever material and surface treatment they have been subject to, they don't seem to fog at all, which is an improvement on goggles I have many years ago that often needed to be rinsed to remove fog, leaving a bit of water inside that defeats at least some of the purpose of wearing them. From experience, these goggles can also double as protective goggles when performing tasks such as cutting and frying onions. For some reason, onions, just as they start frying, possibly also mixed with the gas from the hob as I never noticed anything when I used an electric stove, make my eyes water and sting almost as much as when we had to remove our gas masks in a small shed full of tear gas during my Navy days. With these goggles, I have been able to do it comfortably on several occasions. Cook onions, that is, not being exposed to tear gas, though I would think it might just work well for the latter too in the unlikely event that the need should arise.I would definitely buy them again.

In short, are these amazing goggles? YES! (but it depends what you want them for). These arrived today, promptly as always with Amazon prime. They come with a box that you can keep so no worries about chucking them in your bag with the rest of your kit. In the pool they are incredible, much better than my Speedo Biofuse and any other goggles I've tried before. They don't leak, they are super comfortable and they DO NOT FOG at all.Even though I bought the clear lens they still seem to have a very light darkening, at first I thought hang on but actually when swimming it reduces the glare from the pool lighting when coming up for a breath. Underwater they are clear as you like and its not noticeable enough to mention.180 degree vision is accurate (does not deform) and the build quality is just as you'd expect from a company linked to Aqualung, the Gucci of the scuba world. And I say that with a pinch of salt because unlike Gucci products, Aqualung know how to make something that works repeatedly and doesn't break. Now for the Con: ??? The outer silicone that surround the lens bulges out a little around the glass. This, as I found out with experience of dropping them is actually a great design to reduce damage to the lens because they still look brand new. It certainly reduces their exposure and at the pool 4 times a week this will happen from time to time. In my opinion this is a really well thought out product FOR THE POOL. As I found out, the lip does appear to stop the water from shedding the lens completely. Because of its depth it holds a little drop there, for the pool this is no problem but if you wanted to use them for open water swimming, where you need to see landmarks or surface marker buoys, this remaining water may cause visual distortions and just be a general pain in the butt. Having said that they aren't called open water goggles and I'm sure Aqua Sphere's open water goggles are just as good in the sea as these are in the pool.So if you got to here, well done and thanks for reading, now buy yourself a pair of these amazingly comfy goggles!

I bought five pair of goggles recently because last summer I really wanted some and didn't have any. I got a couple with built-in nose covers and I don't really like those. I got a couple that were very shiny and looked really nice (and they were ludicrously cheap when on sale, cheaper than a fast food burger rhyming with 'mig bac'). These goggles aren't necessarily expensive, either. Compared to a 'mig bac' they are more money but the other ones weren't usable. One had a hard plastic nose piece that cut into my nose when I wore them. The others were so small they went between my eyeball and the skull-bone-eye-socket so it felt like someone was gouging my eyes out. Also, one had a "quick release" feature made of the cheapest feeling plastic known to man. I can't be upset because it didn't break... yet. But I had no confidence that I could wear those goggles for years without any troubles and you don't really want goggles breaking while underwater. So, I finally bought these. First, the nose strap. It's rubber just like the head strap! What a marvelous idea! Why aren't they all like this!? Everyone has different shape faces and noses, if you make it rubber it allows the strap to contact your nose (or not contact it if you have a little nose) without any pain whatsoever. The straps adjust really easily with little lock-buttons on the sides, and they're pretty dang comfortable. I had my expectations pretty low due to the first few pair of inexpensive goggles but these are wonderful.I am a large male with a size 8 head. The only hat I have is a XXXL. I wear medium shirts, just have a huge head. These goggles fit both my head and my face. If you have a tiny head, I recommend finding a review written by someone with a small head to be sure they'll work. When I put these on, the next thing I noticed was the lenses. It felt like looking through sunglasses (mine were the black/black color). I highly recommend the tint if you are going to use these outdoors as I plan to. Indoors, I suppose that's just your preference.

I tried this style after returning the Aqua Sphere Seal 2.0 - Clear Lens Scuba Mask. The swim goggles were a much better fit probably due to their smaller form thus reducing the variables associated with facial contours. The swim goggles are very comfortable and have not leaked at all. I use the goggles for swimming laps in an indoor pool. They are prone to fogging - but that's not a major problem for me as long as I can see the lane marker on the pool's bottom. I haven't tried any anti-fogging liquids to eliminate the problem but I can't see any harm from their use as the lens coating isn't all that effective anyway. I would have definitely given 5* if not for the fogging.June 2016 - A follow-up to my original review.I've been using the goggles for 9 months now, about 1 1/2 hours per week in an indoor pool. I now find that the goggles are leaking to the extent that they can't be used. After rinsing them thoroughly after each use, I've been putting them back into their case without drying them. Other reviewers have suggested that this may cause the silicon seal to deteriorate prematurely. My replacement goggles, SealBuddy PV10 , specifically say the goggles should be dried after each use. I'll be doing that in the future.

I am a triathlete, and these are simply the best swim goggles out there. They are water tight and super comfortable, and they won't leave you with a headache or rings around your eyes. They have a nice adjusting system that takes seconds to use, so you will be able to make these looser or tighter very quickly without a hassle. The range of your vision is very good, which makes it easy to see what is going on around you. The rubber is soft and pliable, so there is no cutting on the bridge of your nose. They have a split rubber strap around the back of your head that makes it easy to accomodate any hairstyle. The one downside is that they sometimes don't last as long as some other goggles, but they last plenty long enough. I work them pretty hard with a lot of time in the pool, so this may be the reason why. In a worst case scenario, these will get you through at least one season, which makes them worth every penny. Once you use these, it will be hard to go back to any other goggle.

First of all, this product isn't made in China, which is already a whole flight of stairs up from any other products meaning that these are already guaranteed to last you for awhile. They're made in Italy and they are perfect.I bought these goggles mainly because my old ones kept leaking and honestly, this is one of the best type of goggles ever. They really don't leak, they are very durable, I kept mine in the plastic case that it comes with, which was very efficient in taking care of the goggles. Fogging is not really a problem, all goggles will fog regardless of what they say, but the fact that they keep on my face and not leak in water is what drew me to them. The only negative comment Ihave about them is that the curvature on the outside traps some water and of course the 1st time I used it I had to stop and shake it and kind of ruin it for the day because I kept bothering about it. Otherwise, these are the perfect goggles for people to use.

I was afraid to order something like this because it's hard to tell how they would fit. I also noticed that the bridge area does not adjust. However I was pleasantly surprised when I tried them out. They appear to fit just fine and sort of take suction sealing out the water. My previous goggle were Nike brand, and they didn't seal very well at all. I constantly had to take them off and dump out the water. These Kaiman goggle seal extremely well and seem to keep most if not all water out. I can see so much better, and it makes swimming laps more enjoyable. Even though I need corrective lenses, I can see well enough to be able to read my watch and get a pretty clear view under water. At times I get a little fog, and for that I gave them 4 stars. I appreciate the nice case for storage. Overall I'm satisfied and happy with my purchase. I would buy them again, and recommend them to other people wanting to swim.

I have tried many goggles over the years but these are without a doubt the best. Unlike some major brands these googles are actually for women, not unisex, and as I have a narrow face they fit extremely snugly. They never leak and after a month still haven't fogged up (again a real change from the major brands which claim to be anti-fog but generally only last two or three swims). I wear contact lenses so it is essential I do not get water inside the goggles. Once on they are easy to adjust for a close fit, so much so that I can even dive into the pool with them on without them slipping back. And they look good on too! When I take them off I'm not left with huge indentations on my face.I am really pleased with the Aqua Sphere googles. Having spent years forking out money for Speedo goggles that never fit, are no where near as good quality, I only wish I'd come across Aqua Sphere long ago.

So many goggles have been destroyed at my house... My kids go thru them like they are free. I have spent enough money on them that I was afraid to try again at this price. But man are these worth it. We have had 5 pairs (5 kids) live through the whole summer (with daily use) and they are still going strong. The kids love how they fit and how much nicer they are than the cheap ones.remember to tell who ever uses them not to put them on tight. These are just supposed to be tight enough not to let water in. Just loosen them all the way up, put them on so they almost feel like they aren't tight enough. Go under water, if water comes in, tighten once on each side.repeat if needed. Also put them on before you go in water, they will stay clear and not foggy. My kids love them. They are well worth the money. Oh, and we take them inside every time. No sun means they last longer too.

If you are looking for an amazing goggle like nothing you have ever had before then look no further. I wasn't sure if we should spend the extra money since i can get the Speedo version of this at my local Costco for 75% less money. After receiving this goggle and using it. there's NO COMPARISON to anything else we've tried. We've used TYR, Speedo, Ipow and others. NOTHING COMPARES to these. Was looking for a google that provided good visibility for night swims so we needed something clear. These more than fit the bill......they are simply awesome. The nose piece is also VERY comfortable. My daughter who broke her nose a month ago is able to wear these goggles comfortably - they are the only goggles she'll use now. She's 15 and previously thought 'a goggle is a goggle'. Now even she's raving about the comfort and quality of these! Try them, they won't let you down.

I have used Aqua Spere goggles for the last few years. I always buy a new pair in time for the Swimathon that takes place in April each year. I swim regularly 3 times a week and swim 2miles each time I go. The goggles are excellent, I have never had a problem with them leaking or misting up. After a year I just like a change, i finish up the old ones by using them when we go on holiday. They get a bit more used and abused by mixing them with sun, sea, sand and sun cream! I usually buy my goggles from a recognised swim retailer. I just happend to be on Amazon and found a company called ' Top of the Cue' who were selling the same googles a lot cheaper than my usual supplier, with free delivery.I thought I would give them a try and was pleasently surprised when they arrived two days later just in time for this years Swimathon. Excellent service, thank you. :0)

I searched for a long time to find goggles that don't leak but are comfortable and dont leave me with goggle marks. So far these goggles have ticked the boxes. They seem to be water tight and not to leak without them having to be very tight. The rubber around the eyes is soft so doesn't leave a big mark.I swim before work and my last goggles made me look like a panda until lunchtime. These left no mark this morning and I didn't have to stop at all during my swim to adjust them. So far very impressed! The only thing I could see people having any issues with is that the rubber band that goes around your head is kind of "sticky" as in I don't know how it would feel against your hair.I wear a swim cap and it is great for keeping the band in place but I don't know what it would feel like if someone was wearing it against long hair?!

This is probably the most comfortable pair of goggle I've ever worn. My prior pair was Speedo, and while they lasted forever, they weren't overly comfortable and left deep rings from the suction of the goggles. These however, feel like they're barely touching my face, but still don't leak! The only reason I can't give these a 5/5 is due to the same reason I saw on another review (I believe on the Aqua Sphere site) that mentioned the issue for guy's with long eye lashes. This may not be an issue for some, but I have rather long eyelashes and because these sit closer to your face (at least than my last pair) the tips of the lashes rub some on the goggles. It's not a deal breaker,as these are in every other way superior to my other goggles. It's just a slight annoyance to note and the only con I can see for buying them.

Having tried to find goggles that fitted me without much success, i was beginning to get annoyed. My last pair were a cheap £5 pair available at my local pool, when it came to replacing them i tried several times but newer pairs both cheap and more expensive (speedo) were just to small and felt like they were sucking my eyeballs out of my head - i wanted a larger size goggle to sit around my eye comfortably. Then i saw these and thought they looked just about right so took the plunge and ordered them. They arrived within a couple of days and i tried them out this week - joy oh joy no more sucking on my eyes, they kept out the water, didn't fog up and were comfortable and left no marks around my eyes.On the whole i think they are a great product and at a reasonable price too :-)
