My husband and I have purchased and have tried maybe 30 pairs of goggles for our son since he started swim class. Hands down these goggles are AMAZING for kid's who are learning to swim. My son lost his first pair and this is his second. We purchased a Target replacement but it wasn't the same. The Target ones would fogged up and filled up with water constantly and would not sealed properly that water would get in so in the donation box we go. These pair of Aqua Sphere is amazing. Here is why:Straps are easy to adjust for parents and swim instructorWider swim view in the waterEasier for parents, instructor, and kids to put onSealed properly for swimming lessons but parents let's be serious...let's not try to think that this is the perfect magical goggles. It does get some water in if straps are not tight enough or if it is not sealed around the face properly. But by far, this goggles definitely takes in water a lot less than the other one I bought from Target. While I am sitting there watching my son take swim class, I hear less of "water getting into my goggles" interruption from my kid to his instructor. It does not fogged up as much as the other goggles we had as well.

My five year old is currently following the Learn to Swim curriculum and the instructor mentioned that they may find a set of googles useful. Some research led me to these. I’ve had them for about six months now and they’ve been used pretty heavily including a week’s holiday in Greece. This review concerns how well they work for little one but obviously I’ve not actually worn them myself. The main thing about them is the size - they’re larger and cover more area around the eyes than “traditional” goggles. They’re sized through some “ratchet” clips so once they’re sized they won’t slip. I’ve reads some other reviews where the band has snapped but even with my little one being a little heavy handed they’ve been fine. They appear comfortable (I’d soon know if they weren’t!) and they’re usually worn for an hour at a time. They also come in a nice case so they won’t get scratched when they’re in a bag.Pretty happy with these, they work well and are pretty cheap. If I ever need another set they’ll be top of my list.

This brand of goggles got both my children through their swimming lessons without any leaking, fogging, red marks on face etc! That said, both my kids have the same shaped faces and wide nose-bridges! So, it may be that they both fit into the 'right shaped face' category for this style! Goggles definitely vary from person to person. What fits one person perfectly will not necessarily fit another. My advice would be to try and find somewhere that you can physically try them on your child first. They are bulky to look at and not the most flattering style - but does that really matter when they function so well?! My daughter is currently 9 and wears them to a Swimming Club, where a few other children still use the same style quite happily. My son was happy to wear them until he was 10 and started progressing into competitive swimming, whereby they became "uncool" and obviously they are not intended for competitive swimming anyway! Overall, I would recommend these goggles for younger children.

I tried two other types of swimming goggles for my 6 year old son. They were always leaking or fogging and he was always having to mess with them. I set out to research a good pair of swimming goggles and price was of no concern. I found these and based on the positive reviews I decided to go for it. Although price was not a concern for me, I felt that the price was very fair. Well, we used them for the first time last night and they did not leak and they did not fog and once he put them on he had them on for over an hour only removing them here and there just when taking breaks. I'm teaching him to swim and he made more progress last night than in the previous 3 sessions combined due to the fact that he was so comfortable going under water thanks to the goggles. He basically forgot he was wearing them and that pretty much says it all. I tried them on and they worked for me too. I will be buying a similar pair from the same manufacturer but in an adult size for myself.

These goggles aren't the cheapest at all but they are the only ones our daughter felt comfortable in. She went from being nervous and anxious in her swimming lessons to spending more of the lesson under the water than above it having swapped to these goggles! She wears them in the bath! We winced when we bought them first time because we had several pairs of £4/5 types she could use but they have been worth every penny. Easily adjustable, gloriously pink (other shades available) just what every little girl wants! In fact we rate them so well that when our new puppy decided to chew them up I made a desperate early morning dash to the sports store to replace them.I didn't even mind paying £5 more than sold on Amazon to avoid the inevitable meltdown at a swimming lesson. So they are worth paying the extra for. The only negative is that they are definitely not puppy proof!

My daughters have used the original Aqua Sphere Seal's for the last 5 years and only now have they started to discolour, with some black staining appearing within the red coloured plastic that looks like mould, but won't shift with Milton or even stronger bleaches. Whilst this didn't interfere with the goggle function, it doesn't look great so it was time to renew for the updated model. The main changes that I can see are a slightly modified shape and wider lens with an improved design of the side-clip strap adjusters and stays. The adjustable sides are consequently much easier to use and the fit and function remain second to none in terms of goggles for children. When my girls started swimming they were the only ones in a class of ten and within four weeks everyone had asked us and changed their chidrens' goggles for these which says it all to me!

Out of all of the myriad pairs of goggles my child has owned, these are by far her favorite. I cannot attest to their superiority personally since they are for a child, but just from watching her swim with them, she seems to do more swimming than fiddling with the goggles, unlike other pairs in the past. Yes, they are more money, but in this instance, I believe you get what you pay for. I have a similar adult version of these goggles, and there is a significant increase in clarity compared to other goggles I have tried. These are also much easier to adjust than most of the cheaper versions we have purchased in the past. All in all, a good product that has helped my child enjoy swimming more than before, which is all you can ask.

My 3 year old had issues with going underwater and I'd tried a couple of different pairs of goggles but made no difference. I borrowed a pair of these and now she is now a totally transformed swimmer! The confidence these have given her is amazing. There a couple of big differences over the other goggles I tried: 1) the eye space is great, giving a less claustrophobic feeling 2) the visibility is a lot more than than normal goggles and 3) they are so easy to put on.She has quite a bit of hair (normally in a pony tail for swimming) but the way these slip in to place and then you just pull the strap through the click catch to the right fit. They are flexible enough to fit most face shapes and sizes- big thumbs up for these 5*

I swim 15k every week and I have long been a fan and user of Aqua Sphere. For our kids we tried 2 other regular "kids" goggles and they were just problematic, wouldn't stay on, water leakage, uncomfortable, etc. So we decided to go with Aqua Sphere. Done! These are simply great!! They are not actual "googles", but a mini mask. Meaning there is one single section for both eyes. What that does is one wrap around the face with an almost half inch sealant section which sucks to your eye in a very comfortable way (I even tried and it sure vacuumed to my face though it was little to use). If you are introducing goggles to your kid,I would say that this is a very safe bet as it will most likely work for you right away.

As a competitive swimmer growing up, it's important for me to have my son be comfortable in and around water as well! Luckily he is a little fish and loves it! We have been through a couple sets of goggles that didn't provide the right fit and therefor water would seap in and instantly drive him crazy. These AquaSphere goggles are AWESOME! The best goggles I have ever seen. Especially for kiddos, since they provide a larger than normal viewing area and excellent suction around the entire goggle. The purchase was extremely easy and we received them faster than anticipated. All around an excellent experience. I will definitely buy a pair for myself and my hubby next!

Best goggles ever. My 7 year old has been wearing them since age 4 )same pair every week) and went from refusing to get in the pool because he was so stressed about getting water in his eyes, he wore these for the first time and immediately jumped in and has been happy underwater ever since. They seem comfortable, much more so than the standard small ones, they never leak and are easy to put on and adjust. Beware - make sure you store them in the case they come with - my son dropped his at school swimming and someone stood on them cracking the lense. I’ve just ordered another pair as they have been such a success. Hugely recommend these.

My son loves these goggles and they have made a huge difference to his confidence. We tried various types of goggles but all of them tended to leak maybe because he has a flat nose bridge. These goggles fit more like a mask and they are perfect. My son now spends more time under water than above. Some people commented on the fact that the goggles broke quickly. Having had to adjust them for first use, I can see that some of the plastic parts may break rather easily. However, once you have adjusted them, there should be no need to adjust them for a long while. With a little bit of care, there should be no problem.Love them!

They are ok, good actually! This is the third time I have bought these - both my 5 year old daughter and 7 year old son find these a good fit. I particularly like how easy it is to adjust the strap - you can do it easily when the goggles are on or off. The seal is good and not too much pressure on the skin, so no horrible marks after. They lasted us just under a year each time with weekly swimming lessons, so not a bad value for money. I was a little disappointed by the colour that says dark violet, which I think should be called navy. I ordered them for my daughter, but she said they looked too boyish for her.

Purchased this for my recently turned 4 yo. The goggles would not suck on the arch of the nose, so I am hoping it’ll fit better after a few months. At first I didn’t want to open the package because I was convinced I was sent a different colour, but after searching online I found that this colour is indeed what Aquasphere calls violet. The googles are more blue than purple. The tightening band, the clever clasp on the band is really good. Didn’t notice fogging.Apart from the colour and the issue around the nose it’s a great product, does what we need it for; to prevent water splashing in the eye.
