My wife bought these after I had bought the male equivalent.* REUSABLE HINGED CASEThey come in a reusable plastic box (front is clear and rear is opaque) with holes in the back to drain water & let air in (handy in case you forget to open the box to let them dry out, though I would always store them with the box open until they have dried). My wife and I keep ours in the box to stop the lenses getting scratched. The box is hinged rather than in 2 parts.* COMPARISON WITH DIVING MASKYou can't use these or any similar goggles for diving to any significant depth (not that I imagine you'd want to) as they don't cover the nose so you can't equalise the pressure. You can dive underwater safely though ,e.g. swimming along and then diving down.* FITTINGSome people have complained about this style of goggle not fitting. When learning to scuba dive, I was taught this: to see if a mask (or pair of goggles) fits, place the goggles over your face *without putting the strap over your head* and push with a very, very small amount of pressure. The goggles should stay stuck to your face without falling off (I wore mine for about 2 minutes without them falling off - I then took them off. That's how good the seal is for me). If they fall off, they don't fit.If they fit using the above method but not when you wear them then it's because you are inadvertently breaking the seal - probably either by trapping hair between the mask and your face or by having the strap too tight. A common misconception is that to get a good seal the strap should be tight - that actually makes it more likely to leak, is far less comfortable to wear and gives you great 'goggle eyes'.Everyone's face is different so some people will find they don't fit. Someone borrowed my wife's and they didn't fit her because she had pronounced jowls which channelled water in. If they don't fit, simply use the above method to find a pair that does.* COMPARISON WITH EYECUP-STYLE GOGGLESThis style goggle beats the eyecup style hands down, in my opinion. They give far better vision and a wider field of view because you've got more flat plastic in front of your eyes, and you're less prone to 'goggle eyes' (the red mark around your eyes when you remove them). And they are a lot safer if you get accidentally knocked in the face (which happened to me once). If you have eyecup style goggles, I wouldn't hesitate to replace them with this style of goggle - any model and any brand, not just this one.* FOGGINGMy former pair of Aqua Sphere goggles used to fog up. These don't. That's no doubt just down to the age of my last pair but it's a pleasant surprise. In short, expect a few months of fog-free swimming when you buy a new pair. After that you will need to buy an anti-fog chemical (but no chemical that I have found works as well or lasts as long as whatever they put onto a new pair of these goggles, so enjoy it while it lasts!)My wife really likes these.

My traditional goggles were fine for normal pool swims were increasingly leaving marks on my ageing skin and for longer endurance swims I would start hurting around my eyes after 2-3km. My wife's women's version of these felt promising against my face so I ordered some.Held against my face there was a good seal to start with - good sign.In the water they feel weird at first compared to typical goggles - big (feel bigger more than they look), an initial feeling like there is something missing because of increased space and dry area around eyes and lack of pressure in eye sockets and greater buoyancy of the head when face in the water because of larger air pocket. But they have a much wider field of view, very clear vision, and are very, very comfortable.I imagine they might be less suitable to very fast competition swims, fast push-offs, tumble turns etc but I don't do much of that these days. Maybe other reviewers will comment.Helpful hints for all goggles:I suggest, as with all goggles, start on the loose side and tighten only as far as necessary to achieve a good seal. If you don't get the seal and have leaks no matter how tight, they are not for you - all faces are different!Never wash with soaps, shampoos etc, never wipe hard with cloth, towel fingers etc.A simple lick on the inside (or if you don''t fancy physical contact, a gentle spit) followed by a gentle rinse before swimming and they will not fog. Sounds gross but very effective.Shake most water off and air dry after. Don't towel dry or rub or you will mess with the coating.Store in a large loose goggle container with air holes, preferably not at the bottom of your humid swim bag where they will develop mould in the creases.Anti fog sprays and solutions are never as good as a little saliva in my opinion!Happy swimming :)

No goggle is going to suit everyone, ideally you should get your hands on a pair and press them to your face without straps to see if they "suck" to your face. So I understand negative reviews on here. And if the seal is not good the more likely they are to fog.For me, this is my 3rd pair and they work well for me. Last pair lasted 18 months swimming twice a week before suddenly fogging badly. I think that is a reasonable lifespan.I like these because they do not start hurting after a while which is important when I do long distance open water swims. They don't press into the eye sockets like more competition-oriented goggles. The tint is good for outdoors, but isn't too dark for pool swimming.Visibility is great compared to smaller goggles - quite liberating when you first switch. If you are sprinting and doing aggressive tumble turns then maybe these won't be for you as they don't have the in-socket stream lining of traditional goggles.Adjusting the strap is easy while wearing using the clever mechanism but once you get the right tension there is little reason to fiddle with them much.Tip: I never wipe, rub or clean with soap or anything. I simply spit in the lenses and rinse - in the shower before, not in the pool - that would be gross but I do see people doing it :( No need for a throat-clearing gob, just a simple spit! That keeps the fog away. After, swimming I rinse them in fresh water, shake and maybe dab gently with a towel at most and store in a breathable case that does not allow the lenses to rub on anything. I used to try and clean and treat the lenses with all sorts of solutions and all they ever did was make them worse.

I like this swim mask. I wanted something that would be comfortable for use in the pool at the gym (heated salt pool). Being a SCUBA diver, I'm used to the style of mask seal this uses and have not had any trouble with leaks. What I did have trouble with immediately is the supposed "anti-fog" lens treatment this comes with.WARNING: If you don't like voiding warranties, stop reading here!Ok, so the instructions CLEARLY state "DO NOT TOUCH THE INSIDE OF THE LENS" or you will damage the anti-fog coating. "Do not spit in the lenses, or use any non-approved anti-fog product."So I read this and was extremely careful to NOT TOUCH the inside of the lens. I put the mask on following the instructions, place mask over eyes, then pull elastic bands over head and secure.5 minutes into my pool session the lenses fogged up COMPLETELY.So what did I do? I completely ignored the instructions and spit in the lenses, rinsed in the pool and put the mask back on.And I had NO further problems with lens fogging the rest of the night.Since then I have actually tried to remove all the anti-fog coating from the lenses by running them under luke-warm water and rubbing them with my fingers. Now when I go to the pool, I just do what I've done with every pair of swim goggles I've ever owned: Spit, rub, rinse, wear.I am giving this swim mask 4 stars because I do really like the feel. They are comfortable, and the lenses are clear. I have no problems with visibility. I will not give it 5 stars because of my experience with the anti-fog coating.

I previously had a pair of ‘regular’ Speedo Googles but the elastic clasp on one side broke off so I decided it was time to treat myself to a new pair.I attend weekly swimming lessons with my children and recently bought a pair of Aqua Sphere goggles for my son as they were recommended by the swimming teacher. I was impressed with his goggles so decided to invest in a pair of the adult goggles for myself. It would be more accurate to refer to these as a swim mask as opposed to goggles but, as someone else has already pointed out, they probably wouldn’t be suitable for diving.I have found that, for general usage in a leisure setting – these goggles are perfect. The main thing I like about them is the mask design.I usually put my goggles on with one hand whilst holding a squirming baby in the other hand. This was tricky with my regular goggles – I found it really hard to get both lenses into place easily. With these goggles I don’t even have to think about that – I just pull the mask down over my eyes and that’s it. Really fast to put on and really comfortable – no more red rings around my eyes! Best of all – I can watch my children swim under water! The goggles come with a handy case to keep them safe and clean. This helps make them feel like a premium product.I’ve received envious glances from other mothers in my swim class too. I’d definitely recommend these to others.

Bought these after suffering serious problems from damaged skin around the eyes as a result of regular swimming with conventional goggles. Took a little getting used to but now I can't swim without them. Still get pressure marks after swims but these are on the less sensitive areas such as forehead & cheekbones & fade much quicker. I can't say they are perfect though, suffer a little bit from fogging sometimes & occasional leaks, also create a bit of drag. But overall, they have enabled me to swim again without worrying about the damage I am causing to my under eyes & for that I'm grateful.Dec 2013 update: Although these goggles are still far better than anything I have tried, got to note that they now leak quite a lot and fog terribly. Also have discoloured and look pretty horrible, despite rinsing after each swim. Despite all this, I will probably re-purchase due to there being no better alternative. Just wanted to note that the life expectancy of them, in my experience anyway, is just several months (that's a couple of miles swimming each week).

These masks have a lot of great reviews about how well they fit and don't leak etc. I would disagree slightly. Our family likes the way they fit like a mask vs regular goggles. But to say they don't leak is a bit misleading. All 4 of my kids have had some issues with leaking. If they don't make the mask as tight as they can and literally push it onto their face to make a suction, they will leak. I am also a bit concerned at how easily the lenses will scratch. The plastic seems very soft. One good toss across the pool decking and they are going to be scratched. Don't keep them in the case after use and they will get scratched by putting them in a bucket or box with all the other swim toys. The straps are nice and easy to adjust but they don't always hold their adjustment. To be honest, I am not all that impressed with these as the end all be all for swim goggles etc. Good but not great.

These are about my 4th pair of aqua sphere goggles. The wider style makes them more comfortable & less likely to leave rings around your eyes for the whole day. Unfortunately they only last so long in terms of the seal. I find I get 2 years out of them & then they start to let water in. They are the best ones out there for me.Buying from Amazon now means that I get plastic pockets as void filler. They say 100% recyclable but they are NOT recyclable in Ireland. They are also completely unnecessary. And there is nowhere on my order to include a note to say I do not want this plastic. The goggles are not fragile & were in a large cardboard box as well as their plastic case.I am reluctant to buy from here again until they kick their single use plastic addiction. This is the only place I can voice my objection to their packaging, so i have. #waronwaste

I'm so glad I found these. They are a joy to use. The smoke lens means I can wear them in the pool on a sunny day without squinting, and the lenses are big enough that they don't torture my eyesockets like goggles can do. They're streamlined like goggles, and not disruptive like a dive mask, and your nose remains uncovered, so no nasal exhale blockage, fogging or interference with proper swim breathing. The strap is comfortable and the tightening mechanism works very well. I think the only real issue might be if you have a very low hairline, or a small face that might keep all of the gaskets from sealing properly. On the other hand, if it fits, they're amazing. As first I thought there was some distortion, but I found that I either got used to it, or it went away when I adjusted the placement and flexed them differently. Highly recommended.

I don't usually write reviews but felt compelled to do so today after using these goggles for the first time - they are amazing! I have recently started swimming again but found that regular goggles were leaving me looking about 10 years older, with puffy eye bags that took several days to subside. Lovely. After a bit of online research I realised I could well be doing some long-term damage to my face. I was resigned to the idea that I might have to give up the swimming, but these goggles are a revelation. They are incredibly comfortable, left no marks on my face and stayed perfectly clear - no fogging or leaking - for the duration of my swim, about 40 minutes. Yes, they are brand new,so may start to leak over time, but for the time being I am delighted and would not hesitate to recommend this product.

Everyone warned me not to buy goggles on line!! But I went ahead. These were expensive compared to others. But do they work??? Yes, yes, yes. They are brilliant and make swimming a dream - I could count the tiles on the bottom of the pool this morning, crystal clear viewing. Comfortable, easy to put on and stay in place - swam 2 miles and the water did not come anywhere near my eyes. Brilliant!!! I am so glad I bought a good pair, worth every penny/pound! Typically Italian, well made, well designed, quality product. So comfortable. I don't usually wear swimming goggles, but these are very special ones. Cannot praise this product enough. Great.Whilst other people fiddle with their goggles and then dip them in the water and put them on and off several times - I just kept swimming. Heaven.

I ordered these because I was looking for goggles that didn't leave rings under my eyes, damaging the skin every time I swim. I've used these for a few weeks now and am very pleased. They fit lower on the cheeks and leave no rings. They do, however, leave a print on the space between my eyebrows where the goggles press in, but it is minor and gone in maybe 20 minutes. Much better than the goggle rings under the eyes which last for a couple of hours. They absolutely do not leak once in place. They have a pretty powerful suction and almost seem not to need the strap! However, after a couple of weeks, they are fogging, and the instructions say not to use any antifog products or saliva,so I don't know what can be done about the fogging.

Really good googles providing great visibility. The screen is large and clear providing a good view.I bought some of these for myself first and now my husband wears them too. I swim about three miles a week, so they get a good workout. They do tend to steam up a little after about 50 lengths so you may need to give them a quick wipe. They are different to usual goggles in that they fit further over the cheek and forehead. They feel comfortable and light and don't seem to leave a mark behind after swimming. Be careful if you wear a swimming hat too, not to get the goggles over the hat and break the seal- something I managed to do once. But all in all ,probably the best goggles I've ever had and I've been swimming for 4o years!

I've always had problems with swimming goggles until I found Aqua Sphere Vista 7-8 years ago. Before them my goggles fogged up, leaked and put too much stress around my eyes - all these resolved by Vista. Now I am on my second pair as after 7 years the silicon strap failed, but I replaced it and since then using in open waters.I found Vista very comfortable to my face, have great vision field and doesn't fog up if you follow simple rules:- I rinse them with water and mild soap after use;- before swimming I spit inside;- then rinse in pool or sea water and... voala! If unsure about the fit better try first at some store - the should suck up and stay on your face without putting the strap ;)
