After trying LOTS of different ear plugs I've found that these are the best I can find for me. Everyone has different shaped ears so this may not be for everyone but I have very small ear canals (shell ear I think it is called) and earplugs tend not to fit in my ear and fall out very easily. I've even tried children's ear plugs and they are not long enough and so again... they don't stay in. I suffer from ear infections though and so I am always looking to see if there is anything I can use and I bought these for a Triathlon that I did last year and they stayed in great. I use them all the time in the pool too and they only occasionally fall out which only really happens when I dive in andafter I have had them for a while as they will lose their shape/strength (I use them regularly though and like to replace every 6-12 months). They can be pushed in quite comfortably using the plastic bit and if I ever feel like I have a little moisture in my ear after using them then I would get the hair dryer on it so that an infection doesn't develop (tip from the ears, nose and throat department at the hospital).

I swim several times a week, and am very prone to ear infections. Since having these, I've not had an infection, and have had much less trapped water in my ears. They are small and a bit fiddly, and I had to experiment with positioning to get them comfortable for a full session, but I wouldn't swim without them now. They come in a tiny plastic box, so are easy to keep in your swim bag. I also wear a swim cap, and the lack of instructions with the earplugs meant that the first few times I tried them, I positioned the spike pointing downwards. This led to them popping out during my swim session as my hat started to slide a bit after about 30 mins hard swimming. I then re-positioned them with the spike upwards, and have had no more problems - they stay in just fine, with a good seal, and don't catch on my cap. They are comfortable to wear, so much so I sometimes forget until I get to the shower to wash my hair. They also block out a bit, but not all noise for those that like a quiet swim. It is difficult to hear someone talking once you are in the pool. I'd recommend.

These earplugs are perfect for me. I'm a fairly serious swimmer, swimming 5-10 hours a week and these are the only plugs I wear. Unlike other models they don't give strong suction and keep 100% of water and quite a bit of sound out. Instead the screw like shape pops into your ears keeping most of the water out and when you surface it slightly loosens so you can hear if someone speaks to you or a coach issues an instruction. They don't always keep 100% of the water out but the slight amount that sometimes gets in doesn't go deeply in your ear and easily falls out when you remove the plug. For me this is perfect earplug for my needs and it's the only model I now wear. It also sits in very comfortably.Again all personal preference but if your expertimenting with earplugs I'd definitely try these. I know other swimmers who don't use them but again it's very personal.

Had been using a pair of Zoggs plugs and they were absolutely rubbish so I bought these to replace my old Speedo ones. They keep the water out well, however, they are uncomfortable not because they go too deep into the ear (they do) but the spirally grooves feel as if they are cutting into the canal. When I took them out, I felt an imprint of the plugs indicating they are too much of a tight fit. I have only worn them once so I suspect that the skin will adjust, hopefully lol! Also when you take them out, twist them out gently as indicated (albeit badly) in the instructions in order not to cause yourself further discomfort.

Cheap, compact, lightweight, easy to put in ear, easy to take out as well,I had a serious ear infection a few years ago and since then I’ve had trouble when on hols swimming and also when I’m having a bath(I go under water to swill hair)so purchased these for that”more than anything else”and they’ve proved to be very good at keeping my ear dry, only thing I’m concerned about is,will they stay in ear while swimming?and I’ve seen some advertised that are joined by thin line(so less chance of losing both maybe?)but they seem to hold in very firm, would recommend to whoever needs plugs.

As a lot of other reviews point out these earplugs are smaller than most. For me that is perfect, I cannot fit any of the Zoggs earplugs in my ears at all (even the kid's size don't fit in my left ear which gives you an idea on how these can work in small ears).I prefer these to the squishy silicone earplugs as they have never fallen out ever, or leaked for me.So if you want earplugs but find all the others to be too big then give these a go. If you have used other plugs before and been happy, and are looking at these as a replacement then they will likely be too small.

I have just used these earplugs for the first time. They seem to do the job really well.I have a profound hearing loss in both ears, with a large perforation in my left ear (therefore I must keep it dry) and tinnitus in my right ear with a large ear canal. As other reviewers have said, you do need to keep the pointed tag in the upright position and gently push them all the way into the ear, you'll know when there inserted properly. If they work on my ears, they will work for anyone!Seller and delivery first class, buy with confidence.

great ear plugs!!! the best ear plugs I have purchased, I have bought over the past couple of years 4 separate types of ear plugs, mainly for use while revising in university. These ear plugs work well when swimming, have never let in any water so far, but can also be used just as normal ear plugs to reduce noise and in that regard they reduce noise more than any of the 35db noise reducer ear plugs. They can be fiddly when you first get them and hard to get used to but I would recommend to anyone looking for ear plugs.

i have bought the predecessor to these ear plugs in the past and that style was a perfect fit in the ear. so i bought this and it has an added feature of a tag to assist in removing from the ear. However the corrugated part that goes in the ear is slightly smaller than the old ones and I am not so confident that they will keep water out like the previous model.... not had a chance to try them yet though ; just wanted prospective buyers who have had them before to know they are smaller

These are fantastic, and essential. I've been using these for about 5 months three days a week. They are a very good fit, so much so, that I find that I can't pull the left plug out with my right hand or the right plug out with my left hand. I rinse mine after every swim with fresh water to wash off any chlorine and try to dry them out, but more often than not, end up in my swim kit all week and then go out on the side to dry out at the weekend.

Does exactly what they're supposed to. I've used the mold-able ear plugs before, but have had them fall out mid-swim, or just seem to dry up and be of no further use. It was after loosing one a friend recommended these. The're a comfy fit in my ears, don't come loose or fall out, prevent 100% of water from getting in, and the only way these won't last forever is if I damage them myself. They appear to be the business.Highly recommeded

I purchased this after a year of my son suffering from swim ear and many visits to the doctors because of this, But now my son is very happy as he is able to go in bath and swimming pools without having blocked and water trapped ears. This product is very easy to use and they fit snuggly into his ears but my son still preferes to wear a swim hat over the top of them or earbandit band so he knows they are secure in his ears.

These are the only swimmers' ear plugs I have ever found (after many years of waiting!) which do not fall out after 30 seconds of swimming. I swim for an hour each time and these always stay securely in place. As a result I no linger suffer from permanently water-logged ears! Can't recommend highly enough.Great that they are available on Amazon now - previously they were only available in John Lewis.

I have been using these speedo biofuse aquatic earplugs for more than 4 years, compared to other earplugs which always fall out during dive, these are quality and one of the best price on the market only condition have to spend £20 to get this bargin price, when ever I order other products I buy couple of them as backup policy as after 6-8months depend how you look after each session they can last,

7.7.2016

Best ear plugs that I have tried (out of 7 so far) by quite a margin when considering easy in, staying in - all the time while swimming up to now almost all the time when showering or washing, able to hear and still keeps water out.The colours are my only tiny quibble, dayglow orange and red would be my preference so that they would be easier to locate when I drop them in the water.
