This is a heavy crepe pan with an excellent, extremely robust non-stick coating. I've had a pair of these since 2012, use them regularly, and they show no signs of deterioration. Heat distribution is extremely even, and it's easy to keep them at the right temperature for a long time. The only down-side is that these are far too heavy to easily flip.In my chequered past, I actually ran a pancake house in Bruges, Belgium once, and Belgian style crepes have been a part of my catering repertoire ever since. Belgian commercial caterers use a special clam-shell machine to make consistent pancakes, but I prefer to use two pans. The first I keep hot,so that the milk+flour+egg+olive oil+salt mixture solidifies enough not to run any more in about three seconds. After about a minute it should be solid right through, and have a golden underside. The second I keep really hot: once the first side is done I turn the pancake over to the second pan, so that the other side browns in about thirty seconds, and is ready to eat.With these pans, you don't need to put any oil or butter onto the surface at all — just a little olive oil in the mix is fine. This means you get a much drier (and healthier) surface, with no trace of greasiness at all. It also means there's no risk of the oil burning and souring the taste.These are by far the best pans for making pancakes or crepes I've ever had. The only disappointment is that you absolutely cannot reliably flip the pancakes in the air, which always amuses guests.

it is not necessary to buy it, as you can use another regular frying pan for passkeys, but I love it. I extra equipment as wood stick and spatula for doing Crepe and it's really work.
