I have been a faithful client of Alessi for years. Usually their products have great design, are well produced and last for a long time. Sadly this pot and the pans they sell on this specific line are inadequate. Sorry Jasper, you should keep an eye on the finished product too.The most simple pasta will always, always get stuck on the pot. And everything else I tried cooking with this ended up burned and stuck. They are a complete headache to clean too.I ended up writing to Alessi to complain but they refused to take them back saying that is just the result of use. How about the result of selling a sub par product?!I bought Le Creuset pots and pans instead and I'm beyond happy with their

I bought two of these with lids for batch cooking. I washed them in the sink with a normal dish brush before using them the first time. Having left them upside down overnight to drain and dry, one had developed a narrow ring of rust around the rim. The other was just fine. Call me lazy for not using a cloth to dry them before bed but shouldn't stainless steel cope with an overnight dry? This was all before they had even been used.Apart from the rust they're quite nice!
